Samsung Solar Remote
Was unsure which remote would be the right one for our TV but as soon as it arrived pointed at TV & it switched on but did need to charge it.

Exactly like the one I lost, perfect replacement works right out of the box
We lost our Samsung remote to the ether and needed a new one. This one I opened, pulled the battery tab out, pointed it at the screen and it worked. I like it better than the white one as well. Solar seems to work. Perfect replacement.

Automatic sync is impressive
Dog ate the first one so had to fork out for a replacement. The remote sync'd to the tv automatically which was great

After 1 year the controller keeps dying every 2 hours after being unplugged from charging

Not a like for like replacement
I bought this controller to replace the original which had moisture damage. The plastic is cheaper feeling and lighter so the controller doesn't have the same weight and feel in the hand The control actions of the volume controller are sticky and not always responsive. The seller says it is an original Samsung part but it's inferior in quality to the original part that came with the TV.
