NECA Halloween 2018 8" Michael Myers Head Knocker Figure

Fits right in with my collection Now his head doesn't 'bobble' as much as my others or what I was expecting. Not sure if thats how he's supposed to be or if I have a dud. But he's still pretty awesome just the same.

Last year I purchased the Royal Bobble's Michael Myers bobble head based on his appearance in the 78' classic Halloween and I thought that was a really nice piece at the time, and if you get a chance to buy that one you should, it is very nice. And now we have the Neca one based on the 2018 movie and well...what can I say except the Royal Bobbles one pales in comparison, I'm speechless about how good this thing is. Neca have just got everything right with this bobble head. The Royal Bobbles one has a diminutive body his arms are to petite and it looks a little silly. The body proportions on this one are done correctly, he looks like an actual human being should look. His frame is filled out nicely and rounded like a proper person. This bobble head looks just like those production photo's. What you see when you buy is what you get in the box. These are hand painted and the paint on my one is perfect, there is no paint bleed on the whole thing. The overalls are painted to look dirty and faded and the flesh colour on his hands and neck is spot on. The base is just fantastic to, you get the Judith Myers head stone which looks nicely weathered and you get the pumpkin and the whole thing looks fantastic and a treat for Halloween fans. Size wise to this bobble head towers over the Royal Bobbles one. The Royal Bobbles Michael Myers is around 8 inches, this one without a tape measure to hand is around 10 and it looks big to. I've left the best to last with this review, that all essential head sculpt. The most important part of any figure or bobble head and wow Neca have really knocked it out of the park with this one. I would say this has got to be one of the best if not the best Michael Myers head sculpts that I have seen on any mass produced Michael Myers figure or bobble head. This head sculpt screams 2018 Michael Myers at you from the roof tops it really is that good. They have got the Michael Myers mask just right, even down to the weathering on the mask and the look of his hair. And this one is painted white and not that darker colour that all the other head sculpts seems to get that make him look as though he is standing in shadow. Lastly I have to mention that collar... its turned up! Mikey's collar should always be turned up, the Royal Bobbles one isn't. Ill just close out this review by saying that if you love the Halloween movies as much as I do, and these things give you as much pleasure as they do me when viewed on your shelf as they do me, than you owe it to yourself to have this bobble head in your collection. Certainly no self confessed die hard Halloween fan should be without this on their shelf!

Je suis une fan inconditionnelle des films d'horreur et particulièrement de Michael Myers. J'étais un peu hésitante quand j'ai vu la mention "made in China" mais au final je suis agréablement surprise. Le colis est arrivé rapidement, très bien emballé, dans 2 cartons et du sagex. La figurine fait environ 24 cm de haut, estampillée en dessous. La tête est peinte à la main, les détails sont très bien réalisés. La tête bouge juste ce qu'il faut. Elle est parfaite pour la collection, je recommande les yeux fermés !
