Good quality & has stood up to quite a high wind. Cover has a short zip that makes pulling it over the umbrella easier. Takes quite a push to collapse umbrella into it's shortened length.

Looks quality workmanship, stylish and sturdy. However, I am yet to test it under stormy conditions (i.e. rain and strong wind). I have read all the 'horror stories' on Amazon, about these brollies blowing inside out, after the first sign of windy conditions. However, this has happened with every make of storm-proof brollies I have ever purchased!! Only one of these brollies struggled on for a year, with the brackets busting to bits, rendering the brolly useless, in the end! I have found (and purchased) a storm-proof brolly from the Netherlands - and I believe it is actually storm-proof, as the manufacturers state, that if there is even a tiny problem, to e-mail them, and they'd send a new brolly, free of charge - no quibble!! You can see with this brolly, that it has got more sturdy rods in its construction - these extra rods have never found in all other storm-proof brollies I've ever purchased! So, I think that this is the genuine article, and not this brolly!! Seems solid, lasted a year before the ribs snapped, it turned inside out a few times which I can only guess weakened the metal ribs which then failed and snapped. I had high hopes, decided against getting buying another, actually returned a new one even when I’d been provided a discount.

Ich habe mir von der Firma BeMaxx den Outdoor Regenschirm gekauft, da er sogar Sturmsicher sein soll. Die letzten Tage hatte ich nun genug Gelegenheiten, ihn auf die Probe zu stellen. Größe: Er ist etwas größer als ein Knirps oder anderer Taschenschirm im zusammen gefalteten Zustand. In eine Abendhandtaschen ist es schwierig ihn unter zubringen, aber für die Arbeits und Alltagshandtasche ist es kein Problem. Im geöffneten Zustand zeigt er jedoch seine ganze Stärke und Größe. Es ist sehr angenehm ihn normal halten zu können ohne das die Ärmel oder Schultern nass werden.(Dank ca 1m Durchmesser) Auch muss man ihn nicht sehr hoch halten wie bei vielen Miniknirpsen, weil die Haltestange zu kurz ist. Mechnismus: Er wird mit 1 Knopf bedient über diesen man ihn öffnet und schliesst. Dieser sitzt in einem sehr guten Griff, der Größer ist als bei den meisten Schirmen. Dazu ist er leicht Gummiert und hat eine ovale zylinderische Form. Somit liegt sehr gut und sicher in der Hand. Die Haltestange ist sehr Stabil und die 9 Speichen sind solide Verarbeitet. Es wurde kein billiger Draht als Verbindung genutzt sondern richtige Nieten. Jede Speiche hat seine eigene Feder, die dazu beiträgt den Schirm zu öffnen. Somit geht er recht sanft auf. Bei Böen, geben die Federn leicht nach, womit ein Knicken der Speiche verhindert wird. Beim zusammen drücken für ein erneutes Öffnen, benötigt man etwas Kraft, da die Hauptfeder recht straff ist. Ansonsten funktioniert er tadelos, nichts klemmt oder verkantet sich. Verarbeitung: Sie ist wirklich sehr gut. Regen perlt sehr gut ab und bei Schnee reicht meist einmal schütteln und er ist runter gerutscht. Die Nähte sind sehr gut und weisen keinen Verzug oder Spannung auf. Ich hab keine scharfen Kanten an den Speichen oder der Haltestange finden können. Auch die Tasche finde ich super, da sie nicht zu eng ist und man ewig fummeln muss, um ihn da wieder rein zu bekommen. In Windeseile ist er wieder darin verstaut. Oft lässt man sie aus diesen Gründen bei den anderen Schirmen weg. Preis/Leistung kann ich nur sagen hervorragend. Er hält das was er Verspricht. Ok das mit den 140 km/h würde ich selber kritisch sehen, aber mitteldeutschem Wetter hält er locker Stand. Den Böen der letzten Wochen hat er super standgehalten, wo bei einem Stockschirm in der selben Preisklasse 2 Speichen geknickt sind. Ich kann diesen Schrim für die meisten Einsätze empfehlen. Für die kleine Abendhandtasche/Clutch ist er nichts. Ob er einen Sturm am Meer oder im Gebirge standhält kann ich ich nicht sagen. Doch für den normalen Einsatz ist er perfekt. ( Arbeit,Stadt, Schule, Uni usw....) Liebe Grüße :-)

Im not a person that takes special care of my umbrellas. But this umbrella feels like its worth twice as much easy. Would make me sad I lost it whilst other umbrella would have made me annoyed. Feels professional both as you fold and unfold it.
