I like the latches and the hinge. Time will tell for sure, but they seem sturdier that other boxes I've looked at.

I have been looking for a second tool box for quite some time now and I don't know why it's so hard to find something like this in local stores! It seems they all have gone to nylon bags or the type of cases that are meant to be stacked and transported on a sort of custom wheeled cart. I'm glad I found this box.I have been wanting a second tool box to keep some of my tools separate. Once I received this I separated my plumbing and electrical tools from my everyday type of tools in the main box. This fit all my pipe wrenches and other type tools I needed it to with plenty of room left over to spare. The top tray is deep enough to put shallow type items in it and is nice to have. The rubber on the handle is very substantial and very comfortable in your hand.I do have an issue with the top flap covers where I'd normally put very small items such as nails, screws, nuts & bolts, and the like. The clasps are very flimsy and I could not see these staying closed should the case get dropped or maybe kicked and knocked over. It's a shame because I don't think I'll be using these compartments due to this fact and that's a waste of space.Other than that one issue this is a quality tool box and I'm glad I now have an extra one!
