I don't mind paying extra to get these durable, appropriately sized, colored coded, American-made product . I am sick of spending money on foreign-made goods that wind up being a shoddy, single use, short-sized, throw aways. Yes, I'm old; I remember when quality goods were common place and expected to last, as well as shipped in a way to arrive intact. These fit my expectations.

This is my 3rd purchase of Made in the USA document protectors from EnvyPak. They also have a "heavy duty" product, but these color-coded document protectors are plenty durable for light or moderate use such as holding references, reports, or sheet music. They will wrinkle if you don't protect them from improper flat storage, but so do all document protectors. I use the color edges to classify what the documents are for in a larger 2" binder instead of using separating tab sheets.

Just what I wanted

Got these for my wife's birthday to hold her recipes. They are perfect. She can now color-code; and the plastic all the way up keeps the recipes clean, esp. when you're slinging flour and other ingredients around. Wipes right off.I'm sure they can be used for other similar organizing, but my wife is really happy about this.

Am going to use as separation in binders because it is difficult to get dividers that are wide enough to show over sheet protectors. I jsut recommended to a friend who has a project in mind.

I really liked the idea that it wasn't necessary for me to punch holes in the sheets I wished to protect. That was great - just insert the sheet and put them in the notebook. In addition I really liked the colored borders so that you can sort the subjects by color.
