Super bright
Great product! I have used these for about a decade. Incredibly bright on high setting. Adjustable zoom. Far outpaces anything cheaper.

Super bright! Good battery life per charge.
This thing is great. I use it primarily for taking the dog out at night. Super bright and I love how it points to where you’re looking. Can be a focused beam or widen to light up the whole yard. I’ve tried many of the cheaper ones but if you are serious about light and reliability then this rechargeable headlamp is for you.

It's bright
I really want to give this product a 5 because it is with it but the heaviness I had to give it a 4. I really liked this light, it was nice and bright and it lit up a lot of area. The only problem I had it was extremely heavy because of the battery pack. if they can make a way for this not to be so heavy on your head I would be more than happy to purchase this light. It did the job when I was walking in the early mornings.

Best head lamp
Bought this for my husband when he does his early morning fishing on the beach. He absolutely loves it! It has so many different modes. It's very bright the power behind it is crazy. He can actually see far compared to the others he has had. The charge lasts for a while so he doesn't have to worry that the battery will die.

A bright light with ultimate adjustment
This light is exactly what I needed for woodworking. The light is bright enough to illuminate my work and with the added feature to zoom in/out on my work it really helps me to see. (Other cheaper brands I tried had the tilt feature but did not zoom.) I was using a head light that worked fine but the light was not quite bright enough and to keep it as bright I had to change batteries during the day. The extra cost of this headlamp will easily pay for itself on battery savings alone. These batteries will easily go all day and if I forget to charge them overnight, they will go the next day. This unit is a bit heavier due to the bigger batteries, but it is comfortable to wear so its not noticeable. The light in the front and the battery pack in the rear provided a good balance. The only downside if anything is the time to charge when the batteries are low. It takes awhile, so just remember to charge them overnight. I would suggest that you display a standard AA battery next to one that comes with this set to give users a better just how big they are. So glad you put the extra charge into this headset so it ca be used all day. I will followup with more after I have a chance to use them for a few weeks

Brightest available Pro DIT
Amaker on the left in video and photo. 3 times as bright as similarly priced one. I have about 4 Amakers. They last and anre the brightest. I have bought at least 5 other brands because they were less expensive like the one on right in the photo and video. They show up with 2 batteries, less brightness, and break after a few weeks. Just a professional DIYer here.

Good for the money, for the battery life, but I wouldn't take on a serious overlanding expedition.
So, this headlamp light is good, but...I wouldn't necessarily call it one of the best that I've had. It's a bit bulky (heavy), but it also has a good life on the battery in between charges. It is very bright for what I need at night on the homestead for chores and caring for our animals. But if I were to go on serious overlanding and needed a high-level, absolutely dependable headlamp, I probably wouldn't get this one. I would go for a much lighter and brighter lumen and a less bulky one rather than this one. But for the money, for the brightness, you can't beat this one. - Lance / Oklahoma

Not waterproof at all, about 2100 lumens, 3 hour battery life
This light is advertised as having IPX7 water resistance, which means that the light could survive submerged in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. However, the one I received, has no water resistance at all. The battery case is not sealed, and the zoom lens is not sealed. I removed the batteries from the case and held the light under a gentle flow from a faucet for less than a minute. Both the battery case and the inside of the lens were fully wet. I fear that if the batteries had been in the case and the light turned on during this test, the batteries would have shorted and the light electronics would have been destroyed. I think that any kind of rain would get the batteries wet and short them out. It seems unlikely that the LED or electronics would survive getting wet while operating. I think submerging this light even momentarily would kill it. After drying the light for one day, I reinserted the batteries and the light didn't work. However, after another day of leaving the light open it dried further and then the light did work again. I did test the brightness of this headlamp with a photo light meter. I set the light on its brightest and widest setting and held the meter about 8 feet away. The meter was set to ISO 800 and I got a reading of EV 9, or an exposure of F22 at 1 second. That is pretty bright. I directly compared this with the light output from a Dansport light which is rated at 1080 lumens by that company. The Amaker is a touch more than twice as bright, (one F stop or EV number). That would indicate the Amaker is about 2100 lumens at its widest setting (assuming the rating of the other light is accurate). When the light is zoomed into a very narrow spot, then the light beam is much brighter in that narrow spot. The lumen number that Amaker advertises seems much too high. At full brightness, my batteries lasted slightly over 3 hours. Other than the lack of any water resistance, it seems like a fairly nice light. I like the 3 intensity settings: brightest, medium and least bright. I never use strobe settings and I would hope to never use the SOS setting. So those are just two extra button pushes needed to turn the light off. The zoom lens from fairly wide to very tight beam, works well. If you never use it in the rain or mist, this headlamp should work fine. I need a waterproof light, so I sent it back for a refund.
