My partner absolutely loves this dimmable light. He was sceptical at first but is completely sold on this.Very easy to change with existing light fitting. Extremely bright but can be changed in brightness and whiteness using the remote control. No need for messing around changing light switches, just use the simple remote.

Great lights because you have such a variation of possible colours and degrees of brightness.Simple, plain units, nicely made and solid not flimsy plastic like a lot of others.Only 300mm square and didn't quite give enough coverage for my elderly mums kitchen so we bought another and will fit two.

These lights are terrific for the money. They are not fancy, but if you need something simple, but which offers fantastic light levels which you can control very easily, these are the ones.The only minor negative is that you need to know what you are doing when fitting, or pay for an electrician, as they are a bit fiddly to fit and difficult to line up with your walls as you rotate the main body onto the ceiling fixing.There could be orientation lines or arrows to show which direction the fixing should be facing, so that when you rotate the main body onto it, the edges are parallel to your walls.

very simple design so hopefully will last a long timeremote works well and very bright, so the 3 setting help with dimming etcrelatively easy to install, but depends on your lighting ring as I had a lot of wires to connect, could come with some connection blocks to make things simpler

In general the light is reasonably good.Very easy push fit connections.The remote feels very cheap and flimsy but operates fine.The big issue I had was I fitted it to a light switch dimmer (Lightwave) that was already installed on this circuit, this promptly failed. So I believe the product description should clarify this.

I used 2 to light a long galley type kitchen and they work well, I like the low light feature so there is a light on when we come home late.

I'd read a few negative reviews on this product so was wary. I'm glad I took the plunge.Fitted a couple of days ago so can't comment on longevity but the build quality seems fine.Fitting was easy (if you can wire a plug you can fit this). The only tricky part was lining up the round, half-turn mount in the correct position so the light ended up square with the walls. A couple of trial pilot screws later and it was up and running.This is bright when on full power and the coldest light setting (I reckon about 300w in old money); certainly enough to work by in my relatively small kitchen (approx. 11m2). The other two warmer light settings are still too bright for breakfast time, so I am so glad I went with the remote-control dimming version.
