Misleading Description, Inedible Product
I’ve had donuts from Wow! before and loved them, and was really excited when I found this listing for a 12 pack. Well, the listing description “pack of 12, pack of 4” was very misleading because I assumed for the price it was that I was ordering a 12 pack. I was disappointed when the package arrived and it was only a box of 4.To add insult to injury, the donuts themselves were horrible. There was moisture in the individual wrappers to the point where the donuts were actually slimy, the cardboard in the wrapper was yellowed and damp, and the odor from them could be smelled across the room. I stupidly tried to taste one despite this, and it was foul and inedible. The expiration date said November 2023, but they definitely were not good. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I won’t be ordering these again.

Really good!
Really good high protein snack. Great texture. Taste is good but could be a bit more flavorful. Would buy again.

Not as good as cake/vanilla flavor
Not as good as the cake/vanilla flavor. They are expensive for 4 as well but one in plenty.

WOW! That’s disgusting.
So first off, I hardly write reviews on products because I never felt the need to give feedback. Call me someone who just normally doesn’t care about my feedback being posted as a consumer. However, after buying these “donuts”, I had to take the time to review and hopefully help someone in the future to not waste their hard earned money.First off let’s talk about the value. You get 4 donuts for about $20. Ok… I’ve bought gourmet donuts before that can easily cost 3 or 4 dollars a price, mainly at specialty shops that you visit for that experience. I assumed, based on the description, that spending 5 dollars per donut may be worth it. Absolutely incorrect. Immediately after opening the package I knew I was going to be disappointed on what I just spent money on… Continue to understand why.First thing I saw was the “moisture packet”. Ok.. look I’m familiar with getting these devices in packages. How else are you going to keep these fresh? But… it immediately just smelt of chemicals coming out of the package with a hint of chocolate. Ok… I decided to overlook that as just efforts to really emphasize the need to keep this “delicious” donut fresh. The outside box states, “Wow! is the first high protein, low-calorie donut baked to help people lead a happier, healthier, stronger and more productive lifestyle.” So let’s break down this sentence/slogan.High protein? Yes, the nutrition labels states the protein.Low calorie? Yes, the nutrition labels stayed the protein. Now let’s talk about the “healthier, stronger and more productive lifestyle”. Healthier? Well… after eating half of this donut… I’m not sure if that’s the case. For hours all I tasted was chemicals.. Stronger? Well… yeah. More productive lifestyle? Check! I decided to give this review, so was definitely more productive.Look… I’m being critical of these donuts because I feel I was duped into a product that sounded too good to be true… and it was. To each their own, but this product tasted horrible. I left a small piece for my spouse who took a bite and immediately spit it out.You have been warned… buy it if you want… but I’m trying to help for further disappointments.

Not for me.
I will say that you definitely get a good size donut. For me that was really the only good thing. It smells like a protein food and definitely tastes like one. I personally got very little chocolate flavor from them. And they weren't exactly dry, but they were very dense. A good try, but the flavor really needs to be improved. I would not buy these again.

Not quite a pastry sub
I liked them. Tasty. Portion size small.

Slight Aftertaste.
For what they are, a low carb, low calorie, low sugar donut alternative, they weren't too bad. I didn't bite into it and say wow, this tastes just like a regular brand high sugar donut. However, it was very edible and sweet enough in order to satisfy a craving without the calories, carbs, and fat of a regular donut. So in itself that was enough to give it a conditional wow. What got me was that it does have an aftertaste and I could taste the protein powder a little which isn't traditional in a regular donut. The donut was very moist and fluffy enough. Traditional donuts like this are dense as well so that trait fit. The donut is the size of most cake donuts so I didn't feel skimped. There is a bit of a protein powder smell. It's not strong but when I can taste it too, then that is where it isn't perfect. The donut looks appetizing and if nobody told me that it was a low carb, low calorie snack then I would have just thought it was a regular donut at first, even the glaze on top looks like a regular donut. The donut wasn't sticky at all or cause any unusual crumbs.

Not worth it
I bought these donuts in an attempt to get more protein in my snacks. You get 4 small donuts for $20. They don’t taste bad but they also don’t taste great especially for the price point. The second packet that I opened was completely filled with mold despite having an expiration date that was 9 months away. Not worth the money in my opinion.
