Pens write nicely. It is bold, but I was hoping it would be a little bigger.

I do a lot of editing, writing, note taking, etc. and want a smooth writing pen that doesn't require me to apply a lot of pressure. These fit the bill perfectly. It's nice to find this comfort and smoothness in multiple color inks in addition to black. In my experience, they do not smudge any more than other ball pens that I've used.

Great pens writes bold

I'm a pen snob. If I'm writing in a journal or planner, it'll always be the Pilot G2. But now that I'm jotting down endless work notes, I needed something different. These pens are great for that. The 1.6mm bold tip doesn't drag and scrape into the paper like a Pilot G2 07 would. I can write quickly and smoothly, and having 3 color options is great for updates and edits. Great price and quick shipping - I'd purchase again.

Like this brand n style a lot n the colors I needed. Strangely, hard to find locally, so when I saw this 3 pack, had to get it.

For a "Made in France" Bic product, this is very poor quality. 1.6mm pens need to be manufactured with precision because they tend to be blotchy. This pen was no better than the blotchy, Chinese made equivalents. The ink doesn't dry that fast either. Someone said to try the Bic Atlantis Bold... The truth is, it's inferior to the Papermate Profile 1.4mm (which in itself is not that great of a product). Another disappointment was the ink color. The blue Profile has a standard blue ballpoint hue. The Atlantis is too dark. The red pen doesn't even look like ballpoint ink and looks to be some sort of a gel or hybrid ink. If you need a good 1.6mm pen, I would avoid this.
