These things were cheap 25 years ago, and they're TOO useful! Be safe, though.
Razor-sharp, completely safe to throw in your pocket, I carried one of these for almost 5 years working at the Apple store in Philly. Opening boxes, shrink wrapping, those stupid blister pack things that are impervious to anything short of a box cutter.I buy a half dozen of these at a time. Been using them for 2 DECADES plus.Do NOT buy for, or keep around kids. The little spring-loaded slider makes a clicking noise when the blade slides back and forth...it's irresistible to little ones.Keep them in your pockets or store them up high. Not a "kitchen junk drawer" item...you WILL regret it.These little things are as sharp as scalpels, if that tells you anything. No kids? Keep these things everywhere!

great product
I have just purchased some more Olfa touch knives for myself and my friends. Mine, I have had for twenty years and it is getting a bit rusty so I figured time to replace. You can not carry it onto the planes these days, but other than that is a very handy item to have with you. Cuts open stubborn envelopes, pesky tape on packages, bananas, and other types of fruit, peels away the insulating cover of wires, all sorts of uses. You will be amazed at how many uses you will find for it once you start carrying it around with you and remembering that it is there. Very handy item.

This little item is quite handy, takes up almost no room, is light and effective ... Only improvement could be to 'lock' the blade better in the open poisition ...

The gold standard of touch blades
This is a classic little touch knife, sharp as all get out and able to slice through packaging, fabric, or paper with ease. Lefties use their forefinger to press it open, which feels a little weird but worth it, and righties use their thumb and it’s very comfortable. I just wish the button was accessible from both sides. Super little blade.
