I ordered this clock on Nov 15, and received it today, the 17th. Super fast shipping. It turned right on after installing 2 C batteries. The directions are very thorough and easy to understand. I had it set up to my time zone quickly after which I set it aside to self set which stated should usually takes 24-48 hours. My son looked at it about 2 1/2 hours later and it had already set and it was correct for the time, date, and day! It had directions to set it manually, but I wanted to see if it actually self sets. I was very pleasantly surprised that it did and so fast. I also love the automatic backlight option for when it is dark. So far, extremely pleased with the purchase! I'll see in March if turning on the DST will actually change the time when it's supposed to. My hopes are quite high that it will. It's also a clean, sleek look with great extra information like interior temperature as well as humidity.The image was taken right after I put in the batteries.

I’ve looked and looked for a radio clock which lights at night. I just got this one, adding it to the 3 non-lighted ones I already have, none of which I could see at night. I love it! I have it in my bedroom. It sits quietly, unobtrusively. No need to sell me on radio- control because, as long as DST rolls around twice a year, it behooves anyone to avoid the chore of changing time on clocks. My biggest complaint has been that I had to turn a light on to see the time on the ones I already have. This clock solved the problem! Great clock.On another note, this item was delivered “somewhere” but not to me. Amazon asked me how I liked delivery and , of course, I had not received it yet. I waited for a couple of weeks, complaining. Within 2 days, I got a replacement, no questions or arguments. Great job, Amazon.

Would prefer white text on dark background. Would be nice to have option to run off ac with battery back up.Do you have a larger model at least twice as large, white text, run it off battery or ac with battery back up. Nice to have three mounting holes to hang it from to keep it level if operating off ac. A larger flip out foot would be nice to keep it steady on desk.A larger version two to three times as large with wireless sensors for outside temperature, pressure, and humidity.

Sinks with atomic clock - I KNOW that I always have the correct time.Includes DATE, TEMPERATURE, AND HUMIDITY LEVEL!I can't see much without glasses. Placed on the wall approx 6 feet across from my pillow, I can see the time without difficulty at night. The lighting is perfect for me, not obtrusive but enough to clearly see the time.I find it amazing that I can buy a device like this for so little money. When I wake up at night I know the exact time. If I am hot or cold, I know the Temp AND Humidity level, and I am reminded of the date just in case.I was looking simply for a clock that I could see at night. I never imagined there would be something in this price range that would provide me with so much information. I love it.One slight downside is that I cannot remember how to set up the atomic clock. By the time the batteries have worn out I have to bring up the instruction - which are thankfully printed on the amazon add for the clock - and it takes me a couple of attempts. But once it's set up it's good to go.

Very disappointed with this purchase. Sure it has all the bells and whistles as described by Hito, but it's difficult to read the numbers. I hung it on a wall and couldn't read it because the face plate is very reflective. Any other light source reflects off it. Overhead lights, lamps, and even light from a window on an overcast day.I bought it because it looked similar to my old Skyscan (half the price but can't find one anymore) clock which I had for years and is very visible. Over the course of weeks I moved the Hito clock from wall to wall, then room to room, with no success. I even placed it next to my Skyscan to compare. The Skyscan's info is readable at a distance, not the Hito. The numbers on the Skyscan also seem much bolder. The picture of the Hito with the orange screen is when you push the top button at night. That's visible but shuts off in 5 seconds. Then the much dimmer back light kicks in if its's dark. This clock may be OK on a night table close to you, but, not up on a wall. What's the sense of having all that info displayed if you can only see it up close, looking directly at it, under optimum lighting conditions.

Great price on this little atomic clock. unpacked it, put in west facing window (toward CO) and next morning it was all set and working great. Love atomic clocks and have replaced all my regular ones with them. this one runs on 'c' batteries so will hopefully run long time. it does not light up during day only at night. good value, seller was quick, clock packaged well. i'm very satisfied with transaction.

The first one of these clocks arrived with a broken battery door. I hung it up after I fixed the door, but overnight the front glass fell off. I started a return but a very persistent Amazon person convinced me to give it another try so I returned it and got a new one. The replacement has been wonderful for a few years now. No problems, a couple of C batteries runs it for over a year. Nice mild automatic backlight. Perfect.So I wanted to get another one. The first one didn't show in my orders, but I found the clock again with some searching and it arrived yesterday. It was not in a box like the first one. It was in two plastic bags with some VERY beat up DEAD Duracell batteries inside the first bag but not the inner bag. Not sure if it was the batteries or how it was packaged but their is a noticeable scratch in the center of the clock over the tens minute digit. I'm inclined to return this one too... but the page says they are now out of stock and don't know when they will be back in stock. I hope someone at HITO reads this an can make it right, otherwise I'll just send it back next week. Great clock but poor handling by HITO or AMAZON has tarnished it's review.
