Protects the blades well.

Its not a bad product but not 10 inches. i dont want to totally rip this product because they are nice sheafs but I had two knives one 8" and the other 9" and neither of them fit on both knives. the blade stuck out from the guard even when pushed all the way in. They were nice but the purpose was to conceal the cutting edge which these did not.

I really appreciate that these are slim, and yet still seem very sturdy. The sleeve grips the knife so it doesn't fall out. I didn't rate durability because I haven't had them long enough to make a determination, however I am really pleased with them.

A great value everyday sheath. This may not provide the protection level as a Blade Safe, but I don't believe that was the intent. Both my 9.5 western and asian knives fit beautifully and confidently into these. Just the right amount of grip. My only suggestion would be the description should more accurately show the exact length. As another reviewer complained, theirs came in at 9 3/4, mine is actually 9 13/16. A full 10 inch blade might not fit satisfactorily. Anything less will fit, so measure first. I cannot speak to the durability yet, but have no reason to think I won't get my money's worth.
