I love this device, it secures the backing into picture frames and gives your project a professional look. The only thing you need to be careful about is making sure the device is situated in the recess of the back of the frame because once you pull the lever, the metal piece projects out regardless if it is angled to go into the wood frame. It is really a great device.

Ok, this thing is amazing. I didn’t know these existed since I’d never framed before! My husband has but always used a staple gun, he was super impressed with how easy and quick this is to use! The result is very nice and professional. Highly recommend!

I am making my own picture frames and I needed a way to hold the glass, photo and backer in the frame. I have tried several things but they did not turn out very well. I found this special tool to drive points into the frame without damaging the photo or backer or frame. It is easy to use and does a nice job. If you have a need for a specialized tool like this then I highly recommend it to you. It is modestly priced and saves a lot of time.

I have many pieces of artwork that I've painted that I need to frame for shows. Professional framing costs are expensive and for pieces I'm keeping I will pay the price, but for pieces that I'm going to sell, high framing costs adds so much to the price of the piece (and then people might want to change the frame). This Point Driver tool has been a lifesaver when it comes to me making my own frames or ordering frames online for less money. The tool is easy to use. I did not have any problems pulling the trigger (easier than a standard staple gun) and being able to adjust the depth of the point is a great advantage. This tool worked as well as the much more expensive ones that I looked at. The points are flexible enough to bend up if you need to remove you artwork from the frame, yet are very sturdy at holding the artwork, mat, and glass in the frame. I would suggest you place the side of the frame against a hard surface when shooting the point in since the pressure could separate the frame from itself at the corners. Very reasonably priced and a good tool to have for artists.

I’ve been using small nails to hold my art panels in place when framing for gifts.( Never looked professional)This is a game changer! I framed 2 paintings in about 3 minutes, and they look great on the back! Very sturdy and are holding the artwork in place perfectly.
