Acoustic foam panels for server room
As someone dealing with a server rack room, I need these acoustic foam panels! Our server room used to be unbearably loud, and it was frustrating for everyone working nearby. After some research, I decided to give these panels a shot, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Firstly, the installation process was hassle-free and quick. I could easily trim the panels to fit around my server racks and weird-shaped corners. A touch of adhesive and they were securely in place around the room - no fancy tools required! The noise reduction? Absolutely mind-blowing! These panels have significantly dampened the server room noise, and our work environment is now way more peaceful. Walking into that room is like entering a sanctuary - no more crazy, loud humming to deal with. Besides improving the quality of our workspace, the panels also have a sleek design that contributes to a professional atmosphere. Now, when we show clients around, we're proud to make the server room part of the tour! So, if you're in need of a solution to drastically reduce noise in your server rack they're an investment worth every penny, and you'll be amazed by the difference they make in your space and daily productivity.

OK, this is a REALLY good product and is very good if you have a budget, BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE PAPER THEY COME WITH. Their adhesive is really bad so what I did instead was leave the paper on and just use like blue tape or double-sided tape and stick it on the wall. Not only does it make it so if you take the foam platforms off, they won’t take the paint off with it, but it also keeps them on!!! Other than that, its squishy, definitely works stoping sound and other than its adhesive I’d 100% recommend

Pretty good budget option
These work really well after some initial concern. It took about 36 hours for everything to full expand but once it did, the uniformity was pretty good. Only 1 of the 48 I ordered was slightly dimpled and it was easy to hide in a corner. The size is very consistent though a couple were slightly bigger (like 1/8 inch) but it was easy to mold them to match with a little stretching and scrunching into place. The adhesion is excellent after sitting for awhile. I was a little worried because it was fairly easy to pull up misplaced tiles to reset them but if you really pat them down and let them sit 20 minutes then they’re solidly on. I attached them to a painted plaster wall. I was looking for them to dampen and deaden the sound in an alcove where I record a podcast and some music demos, definitely works for that. I’m not sure how they’d fare with heavier duty needs but I’d be willing to experiment at the price point.

Good product
I use this product for inside of speaker boxes. I like it because you don't have to use spray glue which always makes a mess and gets everywhere. These stick well to MDF and I use a "dynamat" roller on them to ensure a solid surface adhesion. So far so good, none have fallen off or anything even ones stuck to the top. I find using these superior to just stuffing a box full of polyfill, which also can be a bit of a mess as well and get into voice coils and crossover over components. Cant comment on how they do for improving room acoustics but if they work this good dampening sound waves inside of a speaker box I can only assume they would do well enough in a listening or recording room.

Good when they stay put!
Purchased these to help with the sound in our apartment as my wife and I decided to turn one of the bedrooms into the office/man cave/karaoke room/Theater. I ended up installing a projector and a surround sound system to watch movies, sing karaoke, listen to music, and to go with the basketball/football games that are going on. But because we are still in an apartment that actually doesn't have a noise issue , we wanted to be courteous and make it better so that we can assure no noise disturbances. We only had one wall that had the neighbors room that we needed to worry about. the other wall that has the other unit attached actually has the kitchen on that wall so we weren't too concerned about that. We decided that a 12 pack should be enough being that we had some sports mem and photos/canvas hung up that were already in place. All 12 arrived in a large plastic mail baggie that was taped tightly to secure the package. All were then vaccum sealed to where it looked like there was only 1-2 of them inside but as soon as you open the package, they all grow and you woulda never realized that there was 12 of these in that package. Each panel has a full sticky backside and then it came with some extra double sided sticky patches just in case. I spent a good amount of time scrubbing the walls first to get rid of any dust/dirt/unknown crusties.... Then spent a good amount of time wiping down the specific areas these pads were to be installed with rubbing alcohol and let them dry. I was able to get them all installed just where I wanted them to be and all were just fine for a couple of days. We noticed a change in sound in the room and it was for sure for the better! I even bumped into my neighboar and had asked if they had heard us singing at 2am and had also watched a movie that had a lot of bass to it and they said they didn't hear much other than what they assumed was just a tv that was left on at low volume. I was surprised by the answer since we only installed these every 12 inches with a panel size gap in between each just like a checkerboard. And it was only on half the longest wall in the room. Unfortunately, without being touched at all, the panels started to slowly peel from the corners. Then each panel started hanging on for dear life one by one by one! We tried just pushing it back into place and holding it for about a minute to hopefully get a nice solid contact plus used the extra sticky patches and still, all eventually decided to just peel off the wall. At that point we didnt want to spend anymore time and money on it and just set these guys off to the side for maybe another time when we found a better solution to the sticky problem. But to be sure, we just asked our neighbor to listen in that night as we wanted to test the sound out to see if it was a problem. Next morning, bumped into them outside on their walk and sure enough, they were not bothered whatsoever! Not saying these weren't useful because they are! I would love to reinstall these with more panelts to cover as much space as possible but can't make that move till the problem has a solid solution and not until I am able to spend more money on these since I don't have any reason to get these back up in a rush. 3 stars because they did work as sound as the sound goes but they lost 2 stars due to the stickyness issue which I am sure would be a huge annoyance to almost everyone if they had to deal with that issue.

Not self adhesive and not insulating

Foam is not very dense and it doesnt adhere well to surfaces. Better to buy it from a proper supplier
