Red Devil 0497 Tile Paste Adhesive, 5.5 Fl. Oz., White

I have a house that was remodeled in the late fifties I think. The kitchen counters are white bumpy 4" square tiles with a bull nose edging that hangs down about two inches over the tops of the lower cabinets which were apparently built in place (the plywood lazy susan in the cabinet to the right of the freestanding coppertone range with top and bottom ovens does NOT fit the the left cabinet - don't ask me how I know). Anyway, two of the edging tiles came off. The big box store guy tried to sell me peel and stick underlayment in a box of 12" X 24" sheets. I kept saying I needed tile mastic for TWO edging tiles but he wouldn't help me find it (pint tubs are available on their website but apparently not in the store?) So I went to Amazon. The tubes look small and are less than a pint so I ordered two. Whoops! I can reglue my whole counter top if necessary. Anyway I beaded the tiles up and stuck them on last night and it worked perfectly. Easy to apply, no smell, apparently good on wood and tile, and water clean up. Today I glued the small edging around the stainless sink that has been trying to come off. That was pretty easy too, and the water clean up was really appreciated as I apparently applied more than I needed to. I definitely would buy this again--but I don't need to, I already have two.

Worked excellent repairing our tile and it is made in USA.

So I bought this to attempt to repair my kitchen tile where a few small pieces have become loose. Initially it worked really great, easy to apply, stayed in place and I was super proud of my handy fix. However, it only last a few weeks. Now this could very well be a lack of expertise on my end on how to properly apply and it is in a very high traffic area but I was a little disappointed. I will just reapply for now to temporarily fix the problem until I have the money for a more permanent solution.

Numerous vinyl tiles have been coming up in my basement. I believe a former home owner installed the tiles themselves as the back side of the tiles have only a few specks of adhesive. I clean the tiles with some dish detergent and a rotary brush on my drill. Brush the spot clean, put 9 dabs on tile and squish it down. Put something heavy on it and let it sit for two days. Works great. Tube does 4 to 5 square foot tiles depending how big you make the dabs. When I bought a single tube, it was very difficult to get out and I had to buy a tube squeezer. When I bought the box, much much easier to dispense.

Excellent product. Easy to use and easy to clean up. I have just ordered some more.

Glue works well but there’s no cap so that when you open the glue you can cap it so it doesn’t dry up

Actually I give it a zero. Used on a soap dish, taped carefully to the sheetrock backing for 2 days. i took the tape off and the soap dish came with it. Absolute junk. Would have been better to use construction adhesive or ideally, thin set. I am not a rookie, but a a builder.

A tile fell off in our shower. I used this to adhere it back to the wall and it worked great. Read the instructions and follow them and you shouldn't have any issues.

Went to use the product and it is already setup within the tube. Went to Amazon returns and item apparently is ineligible for return. I think I will need to research this further. It said to contact the seller for return but I am not quite sure how to do that. Pretty expensive for a useless product. Follow up: Reached out directly to Red Devil attached my Amazon Invoice and they immediately followed up my email request letting me know that a new tube was on its way! Thanks!!

This item arrived 'almost dried up' and thus is useless. I had to stand up on the other end to squeeze the adhesive out. With a lot of pressure and pain, it came out finally but dried up. Thought it could be the first flush and therefore inserted a tooth pick to clear but same result. Total waste of of time and effort and very disappointed.
