Nalgene bottles just work. The Nalgene bottle is perfect for those who enjoy outdoors activities. As funny as it is to say it "just works" when it's as simple as a bottle, it absolutely does. For starters the material. Not only is it BPA-free, the Tritan material is perfect for a drinking bottle. It's extremely rugged, in fact Nalgene has gained a reputation for how long their bottles last. It also doesn't leave much of a taste! A lot of my experience with plastic bottles is that you can taste the plastic, the problem persists with metal as well. Nalgene bottles have a fairly neutral taste. It's also very resistant to trapping odors and tastes. My problem with alternatives is that if you hold coffee in them for a long time, then your water tastes like coffee even after a clean. 1L is a perfect amount of water to hold in my opinion. It's enough to be usable, but not overkill to where it's not a functional bottle. It's great for day to day use as well, I find myself finishing a Nalgene just fine. The size is great in this aspect, it doesn't waste space with insulation. I find a lot of metal bottles and other plastic bottles can only ever hold 500ml and some change because of their shape. The leak proof seal just works. A lot of bottles are finicky, if you screw the cap from an angle it still leaks. I've tried to do it from an angle but it always screws on properly, I've never had a problem with it spilling. Overall the Nalgene is the perfect bottle. It's a good middle ground of everything while having its strengths in durability, build quality, and price.

32oz Nalgene bottles, at least 1 should be owned by everyone. The industry standard for connecting to portable/backpacking water filtration. BPA free and better yet, bye-bye plastic taste like the originals I have, 40+ years old. Bought 5 and will buy more. A great size for backpack side pockets. The lids seal beautifully, zero leaks even after 40+ years. The large mouth makes them easy to clean and use. I'm not sure how these (Tritan) bottles will fair if dropped off the top of a single pitch but the Lexan Nalgene bottle I can say survived, surprisingly.

I’ve been using my Nalgene bottle daily for months now, and it’s hands down one of the best water bottles I’ve ever owned. The build quality is amazing — tough enough to handle drops, bumps, and rough use without cracking or leaking. And the wide mouth makes it super easy to fill, clean, and add ice cubes. I also love how lightweight and portable it is, whether I’m hiking, at the gym, or just running errands. Plus, it doesn’t retain any odors or flavors, which is a huge bonus. If you want a reliable, no-nonsense water bottle that lasts, the Nalgene is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

You won’t regret buying this!! Would give 6 stars if possible! I’m a Nalgene user for life. My first was a UNH themed one, and I was so distraught when I lost it. It had minor scratches to the printed design from the numerous years I used it, but amazing quality and holds a perfect amount of water. I try to drink 2 a day and that seems to keep me hydrated. I got the pink/cherry one, and I take it with me everywhere. Love the one I got and there’s so many colors to choose from, it is a difficult decision! (In the best way possible.) The cap is attached to the bottle and is very sturdy, have never had the cap break apart from the actual bottle itself. It does need to be washed every now and then, but you can just toss it in the dishwasher. My only slightly negative comment is that the wide mouth takes a bit of adjusting to get used to, and I have spilled water on myself in the car quite a few times before I learned my lesson. But hey, at least it was just water. TL;DR awesome colors, great quality, easy to wash, perfect for anyone who loves staying hydrated but doesn’t want all the bells and whistles of the competing, pricier brands. (Unbiased review, I have not received any products or promotions from Nalgene.)

Water can spill over if too full and can hold smell. Works great if only used for water.

Best water bottle on market, durable, heat resistant, cold resistant, shatter resistant, if dropped not nearly as loud as metal competitors, 1 liter amount of liquid, not the easiest to drink from but Great for utilitarians, plenty of accessories you can get to make this bottle have the same function as a yeti/helimix/stanley for a fraction of the price.

I decided to order one of these Nalgene water bottles because I wanted something that was simpler and lighter than my LTT water bottle (Plus in my situation I don't need it kept cool for hours on end) and so far I've been very satisfied. It's built well, holds just enough water and is in a nice colorway with many other colorways to choose from. If you want a bottle that'll keep water cool for the whole day, this isn't it, look elsewhere man. Would I recommend it? Yes.

Over the years, I've had about four of these in different colours. The only reason I've ever replaced them is because I appear to lose a water bottle every 2.5 years! Really nice vibrant colours that don't fade or chip like an anodised bottle would + it's dishwasher safe with no noticeable degradation to quality. The quality on Nalgene has always been exceptional and lasted many many hiking trips + every survives every day life. 1L is the perfect size for me. While some may say ~£20 is steep, I have had no problem ordering another without a second thought on price the instant I realise I've lost one.

Best hiking bottles on the market. Purchased this one for a friend. Have had mine for 2 years, it has been absolutely battered on all terrains and is indestructible. I have not had any weird smells, as with most usual plastic bottles, really like the wide head, and the ease of attachment for clipping to backpacks.
