Perfectly cooked eggs and breezy cleanup
UPDATED (as noted)Finally! The perfect pan to make 4 inch diameter eggs for English muffin sandwiches. I've previously tried silicone rings in a frying pan but the egg always ran from under the ring. Muffin top pans, even a well-greased "non-stick" one had eggs stuck to the pan. My pan was particularly hard to clean because there was a round groove/seam around the lip of each baking cup. (Ever tried scrubbing baked-on egg using a toothbrush?) I tried the Freshware Mini (6-cavity) but the eggs were way too small for the muffins. The medium 3-cavity baked the eggs perfectly and not a bit of egg stuck (I used baking spray before filling). The cavities are 4" round with straight, non-tapered sides and is deep enough to hold 2 eggs in each cavity. (UPDATE: I have found that one egg per cavity makes a really thin egg "patty." I find better results with putting 1 1/2 eggs in each (For 6 cavities, I SLIGHTLY beat 9 eggs, then fill evenly. I cook at 350 approx 15 minutes, but you'll see the edges of the egg actually lift up out of the pan when they're done). These molds are thicker and more sturdy than the Mini 6-cavity. Those are so thin, soft and flimsy that you can't wash them upright in the dishwasher. This medium mold stands up when braced in the bottom plate racks. I will still use the mini molds, but the size of the egg would only be suitable for standard sized biscuits. The mini makes about a 3" egg but the cavities are tapered down to about 2 1/2 inches in the bottom.

Not Good for Chocolate Covered Oreos
The mold is really good, just going to have to find a different use for it. I initially bought them for making chocolate covered oreos. What people have to review is the product, not the fact that they THOUGHT they could use it for something and it didn't turn out. If you're not happy, then return it, don't blame the product! The reason the petite size did not work is because, (even though it is large enough as far as diameter goes (perfect actually)), while the diameter is the right size, the diameter or the bottom is rounded and you cannot push the oreo down enough. If you do, the oreo will show through when you pop them out. If you do manage to push them down, they will be flush with the mold and so the chocolate will not. The bottoms will be lumpy. They certainly will not look perfect, but perfection is over-rated. They were good for bringing to the office for Valentine's day. So good, no one even noticed that the oreo was showing through, or that they had hump bottoms!Bottom line is: I do recommend this product because it works great. The chocolates popped out easily and shiny! Maybe use them to make fancy, smooth looking peanut butter cups.

GREAT FOR MAKING MY SAUSAGE/EGG and CHEESE MUFFINS FOR BREAKFAST
Bought two of these to make egg and sausage patties for breakfast sandwiches. This size fits perfectly on an English Muffin. Hold just the right amount. I whip my eggs with a stick blender and fill each cavity with about 1/2 of a large egg, cook them, then fill them again with about 2 oz of breakfast sausage. I put the mold on a cookie sheet BEFORE filling it so I can slide it into the oven. Obviously, silicone is floppy! I mass produce the patties, freeze them on a cookie sheet, store them in a zip lock bag, then just slap them together at breakfast time. I toast the English muffin and heat the frozen sausage and egg patties in the microwave. Melt a slice of cheese on top of the sausage and it's a yummy, gooey breakfast.Silicone is supposed to be non stick, but I recommend giving the cavity a quick spritz of cooking spray before filling. The patties will release much easier if you do.

No more fried egg pans to clean!
That is what my husband said when I served up his pillowy and fluffed up baked egg. I mix up a quiche-like mixture with sour cream/creme fraich, cheese, onion and any vegetable I have and them poor this into each section almost to the top but NOT all the way. The eggs fluffs up so there is a chance the liquid will spill over. And if it does and it burns it is no big deal for the silicone because it cleans up in a snap. The baking pan I lay the silicone in is another story. Baked at 350 for 20 and they're all set. The 20 minutes gives me time to clean up and prep the rest of the meal so the timing is perfect. The reason I bought the large size is because I wanted them to fit breakfast sandwiches. They fit our slices of cottage bacon nicely though I have yet to place our "sandwiches" on any bread. We have just eaten them with forks, for breakfasts and lunches. The eggs would definitely fit nicely on an English muffin.

Perfect size, perfect shape, perfect material!
Love this! It has improved my life in a major way!My insulin-resistant husband and I are learning to cook and eat without so many carbs, and bread is really hard to give up. Really hard. But because of this awesome little mold, my lettuce-wrapped-hamburger eating days are behind me! Yeah! This mold turns out the BEST flour-free hamburger buns ever! Because the "dough" is based on beaten eggs (and almond meal), it tends to be runny, and needs a mold to keep its shape during baking. But the finished "bread" is so tender, it's tricky to get it out of a metal or glass pan in one piece. But nothing sticks to silicon -- I just pop the finished rolls right out, easy peasy. And the dough rises and bakes evenly in the silicon, too. This mold is the perfect size, the perfect shape, and the perfect material for making perfect, hamburger-bun sized rolls, every time! Or sandwich fare -- so grilled cheese and BLTs are back on our menu! In fact, I need to order another one, so I can bake six at once!

Outstanding Quality - Perfect for My Use!
I might have bought these molds for a totally different reason than other people - I use them for making resin coasters! The quality of these molds is the best I've seen. They are so shiny! They are perfect to use resin with. I love them so much, I just bought 2 of their other molds. Can't wait to try them out. If you are looking for quality, as well as other uses for these molds, you can't go wrong with Freshware!

It's likely fine for its intended use
It's likely fine for its intended use, but I was planning on using this as a resin mold. I was hoping for something that was rounded, but if this it what you want, don't get this product -- it's flattened on the bottom of the mold (top of the sphere). Which is fine for cakes I'm sure, but not what I was hoping for and not explicitly obvious from pictures/descriptions.

Silicone Hamburger Bun Maker Extrordinare
Performs exactly as advertised. Use a dab of margarine to coat the inside, the bun cooks perfectly and releases by simply turning the mold upside down. Cleans up by rinsing with water and a bit of finger swabbing. Dry with paper towel and its ready for the next time. Great addition to kitchen cookware!
