Breathing a little better
Out with the old, in with the new. 100,000 mile maintenance item. No problems. Quality seems fine.

Must-have maintenance item
I bought this for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner with over 170k miles on it. The previous one looks like it was the original, with all the gunk that was clogged inside. I don't think it was ever changed out and took a considerable amount of effort to unscrew. Replacing it with this one, along with changing the spark plugs and cleaning the throttle body really improved the ride, response, and gas mileage.

Fits. Very easy install if doing on an FJ Cruiser
Got a message from the dealership - "Time to get your PCV Valve Checked/Replaced!" Looked up the cost... too much. Look up the difficulty... very easy. Bought this, grabbed a socket set and pair of pliers (and a beer!). 5 minutes later, new PCV valve in my FJ Cruiser. Saved like $150 or something stupid, compared to dealer expense... This one is a no brainer, too easy to not do yourself, if you own an FJ.So far no problems with the car and all seems OK from OBD scan so I assume its all good.P.S. - I checked the old one ( I guess if it "rattles" that means it is working ok) and with 125k miles, it sounds just like the new one. So I probably didn't even need to do this... but I'll just chalk it up to good preventative maintenance.

Good quality
Recommended for your vehicle maintenance. Most vehicles use a plastic PCV so nice to have a metal valve. PCV valve helps maintain oil quality so important to maintain. The one I removed was still good at 92k miles, but cost was low, so I just replaced.
