Nice and present sound. I am using it indoors. You hear it once in a while when a gust of blows in from the window and it makes you feel nice.

Seems to be the best wind chimes available. Recently purhased. Cannot Comment now on color fading etc. But sound is cute with easy movement of chimes for small breeze as well. Less weight and easy hanging. Felt price is a bit on higher side.
