Best I've used in 20 years in the tire business...
I've used the Milton 500 series for years in our shops. I can't even tell you how many I've rebuilt. With the advent of Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and our nitrogen filling services we felt the need for more precision regarding tire pressure.....Especially now that the customer sees the pressure on the dash....I like them all to read exactly the same - it looks more professional. This is a high quality inflator. I love the way the trigger allows both inflation and deflation so that a very precise pressure can be attained. So far this device has proven dead accurate and reads down to tenths of a psi. The large readout and backlight make me wish this product had been available LONG ago. We now own 3 of these and they have all operated flawlessly.....and that is under constant heavy shop use. Shop employees are notoriously tough on equipment and so far this is the toughest inflator I've used. Unless something drastically changes I will never buy another Milton, the moving parts will eventually wear out, which is why they sell rebuild kits. The Milton is only a few dollars less anyway. If you own a shop this is a must buy in my opinion. If a customer is standing there as you use it they perceive that you are a professional and using a very high quality, state of the art tool. Their pressures will quickly be set precisely and they can even read the gauge from a distance. Unlike many tools in the past, my employees take good care of this tool because it makes their job much easier and efficient. They recognized right away what a huge asset this could be. I'm in charge of purchasing and buying this made me look VERY good to the owners.....they love it. My advice to shop owners: Step into the 21st century and enjoy the benefits of this very rugged and precise tool.

Best Air Chuck
No need to buy the matco or snap on brand , this one is super good and after two years it still has plenty of battery life . Air flow is good , easy to use and even has a glow mode for dark areas in the shop . No leaks and works great . Thanks A.P.

Nice tool, recommended
First impressions, it's big. Not in a bad way, but it is not going to fit in a pocket. It seems solid, the stainless steel braided air hose is a decent length and has a swivel connection to the gauge body. Nice. Next impression, folding back the rubber protective cover from the gauge body to get to the battery compartment seems to almost take 3 hands. Ugh. Removed the pull tab that keeps the batteries from being active and the plastic tab broke and left a small piece still stuck in the compartment cover contacts, fish that out. Replaced the included alkaline batteries with two non-rechargable lithium AAA batteries (I'm tired of leaking alkaline batteries!). I ran out of male threaded 1/4" MPT quick disconnects, so ordered some more. The quick disconnects arrived, install one to the inflator/gauge. Yay, finally operational. First use impressions, it's kind of big but feels good in the hand. The lock-on air chuck doesn't always lock on leak free to the tire valve stem. I might change that out. But using it? Oh, yeah! Adding air, easy. Gently squeeze the metal lever fully, plenty of leverage from the lever so doing so is easy. Letting some air out, easy. Just squeeze the metal lever half way and air comes out from whatever you are trying to fill (or unfill 😆). So easy. The digital gauge reads to 0.2 psi. Nice. Tire (or whatever) a little low, add some air. Overshoot and to much pressure, bleed some out just by squeezing the lever half way. All while the digital pressure gauge shows the reading whenever you aren't squeezing the lever (as long as the gauge is ON, you have to push the ON button). Air flow is fast, in and out. The digital gauge is easy to read, and has a backlight too. The backlight active time is a little short though, minor annoyance (for now anyway). A little on the expensive side, but is fast and easy to use. Both adding or releasing air pressure. Recommended 👍

You'll see it on the toll trucks for more money than you will pay here
I use this inflator professionally and it works great day in and day out. It's easy to use and easy to read with the option to light the screen. No leakage from the valve stem when connected. The hose is great. The battery life is great. You can both inflate and deflate with this tool. I'd recommend getting one for yourself for sure!

Overall great tool with only one issue.
Works with precision. Batteries were included. locks on to the air valve but the slightest movement causes air to leak till you reposition it in just the right spot. Tiny annoyance but still worth while.

The best I've used!
This is one of my most used tools. I work in a shop and every motorcycle, ATV or SxS that comes in is serviced with this inflator. It's a beast. I used to have the MatCo one and THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME TOOL. The Astro is half the price though! The gauge is acurate, the lever has good action and the valve is well built. No leakage. Full pull inflates, half deflates slowly. Perfect for getting tires to exact pressures. This is supper important on vehicles like ATV's or SxS's that run low pressure. Tool is super solid and feels great. It is bulky, but hey, it has it's own special place on my pegboard at the back of my bench. The one thing that you may have to replace after a few years though is the braided hose. I have had one fail. The replacement was ~$20. Well worth it. I also ditched the chuck that comes with it and put a 2 piece system on that has a brass 360 degree swivel first then a right angle JACO swivel chuck. In this configuration this is truly the do it all inflator. Keep in mind this too adds to the price but in my situation it is so worth it. If you are airing tires up all the time in a professional enviroment give it a shot.

Fantastic Tire Chuck
I used to steal the older version of this in my friend's garage all the time. That tool was regularly flung about an industrial space and never skipped a beat. Now that I have my own space, I needed to grab one. This version now uses AAAs in an easy to get at battery door under the gauge rubber. Accuracy is as advertised, +- about 1 PSI at most. Usage between the old and new model is the same and still just as easy: partial pull for bleeding air out, full pull to start filling. The screen remains easy to read with a good backlight. Units can be flipped between with a button on the gauge face. Accuracy and reliability are important to me given this is used for moto track and enduro racing setup, causing most of the cheap models on Amazon to be tossed out. If you check reviews, often times you may see folks get one that's 5 or more PSI off. The QD valve chuck is nice. Fully metal except for the rubber seal, and latches on well. Just make sure to push it on firmly to engage the seal. Overall, probably the best unit you'll get your hands on at the price...and really, it's an air chuck. If it's accurate and durable, and not super expensive, what more is there?

Excellent quality air gauge.
Been using this for awhile now and it's been great. Air flow is quick and build quality is on par with any of the top name brands. It holds on to valve stems with ease and the readout is clear and easy to see.
