WEEKENDER 14 Inch Folding Platform Bed Frame - Extra Storage Base for All Mattress Types - Twin

Bought this when I thought my mom might be coming to stay with us. I thought this was a great option so we could host guests, but easily put the bed away for more space when we don't. This is surprisingly sturdy (I tried jumping onto it like children tend to do, but it stood strong and didn't give at all). It is super quick/easy to put together/break down as well. One minute there's a bed in our office, the next there's not...magic!! It also allows for more space underneath than a traditional bed, so if you purchase this with the intention of it being a permanent bed, it allows for some awesome storage space.I bought this to pair with the Vibe mattress which also had good reviews. The weekender bed frame is high up and seems to support evenly so a boxspring didn't seem necessary; having just the frame & mattress has been working great for us in our smaller apartment whereas obviously space is limited. I almost purchased a rollaway bed but I wanted to be able to pick out the mattress (as well as get a guest bed larger than a twin/twin XL) so I'm very glad and satisfied that I went this route instead. Overall, I think it makes for a high quality guest bed (or backup, if I need it) and I only spent around $300-400 altogether (frame, mattress, & bedding). Highly recommend.

I have three of these beds. The bed I got from Amazon was missing a wing nut. As a result I went to different stores in order to find the right size. I couldn’t find an exact match.The wingnut I bought can’t tighten all the way. I don’t know if this is why this bed is extra squeaky than the rest or not. This bed was squeaky from the start. I have two others of the same type of bed but it was wasn’t squeaky right out of the box. It took a few months. This bed can be irritating if others are in the room.In conclusion, this bed came quick. It is sturdy. It gets the job done. The only question is can you put up with the extra squeakness.

This frame seems very solid compared to my last frame. Metal is thicker and welds on frame are very nice. Assembly is very easy really don’t need any directions.

Its a bed frame

I live in a micro apartment, so it was important for my bed frame to be no larger than my mattress, but still have ample storage underneath. Not only is the queen the perfect size for both those standards, but it also feels incredibly sturdy with no creaking. Also, unboxing, set-up and disposal of shipping materials took under 10 minutes.

This frame is lightweight and easy to unpack and set up. It is sturdy enough. My favorite thing is the height, it’s 14 inches, so a 12 inch high storage bin with a lid fits perfectly underneath.

Easy to assemble as described, older mattress not as comfortable but newer firmer mattress does great, can fit lots of bins underneath.

Minus one star because it broke on one side. To be fair, we are not a small couple, and we were both on the same side, moving around, with a lot of weight on the center leg. 😂
