Cambridge University Press An Introduction to Mechanics

Libro bellissimo

Es un libro que te ayuda a iniciarte en la mecánica clásica (no confundir con la elemental), muy recomendado juntos con otros textos para ayudarte a entender esta bella parte de la Física.

Great text, but might not be the best as an intro. You must atleast have a background in calc 1-2. The reason i say this might not be the best intro is because the problems really require good problem solving skills, usually developed in a book like university physics. Also kleppner misses some topics like fluids and metions friction only briefly. Although i think this isn't the best intro, this is one of my favorite texts. It gives fun examples and isn't dry. I self studying i would recommend this book complemented with an university physics textbook (preferably pdf), so you develop problem solving skills and don't miss out on topics like fluids and friction. With this combo you will have an easier time learning books like Taylor and Goldstein.

Excellent explanations and problems

I love this book, hundreds of exercises with detailed solutions online for free. Perfect for students that have just finished high school and want to learn about mechanics.
