Just received this product, looked great so removed labels. The label on the item states “Child helmet, helmlet size 47-53cm”. The sizing chart on the item photo says Child size is 51-56cm. Disappointingly it doesn't fit our child, as he needed the latter size. Have since looked at the very small print where the correct size is...but it's not clear at all upon first viewing and easy to miss.

The part of the interior polystyrene shell which corresponds to the forehead is proud of the rest of the interior (see photo), so either your adjust the helmet for forehead comfort ( which means it's loose at the sides, and hence ineffective in the event of an accident), or for side comfort, which means it rubs constantly against your forehead. Bearing in mind the sweat which accumulates on your forehead, this means you are constantly lifting and and manoeuvring the helmet to avoid irritation. The polystyrene inner shell also marks and dents very easily (see photo - after ONE ride), which suggests cheapness. A real shame, because the helmet is very light and aerodynamic.

For children, this is very good around helmet. I can't really fault it.It's got the "knob" at the back to tighten.It's got the click connector for the straps and so on.My grand children willingly wear them.I do find with my youngest grandchild you probably need to use a "neck-warmer" on their head to just give a bit more stability, but that's standard for all helmets and small heads.So overall, great value!

Great helmet, 2nd purchase from this company and couldn't be disappointed, does the job its meant to and looks good.

Lovely design. My son really likes it too. The only con, is that there is not much room for growth, so in that sense my 8 year old won't be able to wear it for long. Apart from that, I recommend.
