Perfect for engine oil
It's easier to split up a gallon jug into 4 each quart bottles for in-vehicle storage. I made labels so I won't forget what's inside each one.

Works quite well
What I liked is I could take the bigger containers like from Costco and put it into the smaller ones like these. Works perfectly

Good jugs to have around
These jugs are convenient and hold a lot of liquids or powdered products. I'm using them to hold a monster bag of powdered laundry detergent that is difficult to handle.I put all six bottles in a sink and used to funnel to pour the powdered detergent into the six jugs. That worked pretty well, although it was a little messy lol!Now I can just bring one jug with me when I take the one block walk to the laundromat near me--instead of having to carry the large bag or some other makeshift bottle etc. Plus I have confidence in these jugs because they have the twist on safety caps.Recommended...

Alway good to have an extra Qt on hand
When I buy oil, I usually get the large 5Qt containers because they are cheaper to purchase. These containers fit my needs. When I got them, I washed them out to remove any manufacturing debris that might be in them. I made sure to fill them and tip them on their sides and a couple of them upside down to see if they leaked. I'm glad to say the lids held tight and there were no leaks.I plan to use a few of these to keep chain bar oil in for my chainsaw. It is a lot easier to pour that oil into the saw than the larger container I buy. I'll also put an extra qt of oil in my truck and my wife's and daughter's car. I'll use a white label and mark what type of oil for each one. I'll wrap it with clear packing tape so the label stays legible. Not much more to say about the jugs. They work and do not leak.

Perfect for woodworking product
I mix lots of my own product for woodworking finishes. These work great. Write on them with a silver marker, or use a label maker.I like that they are a quart even though I rarely mix a quart at a time. Better for too big than too little. It helps that they are black so the inside does not get affected by UV. So far no adverse affects from polyurethane, tung oil, mineral spirits, denatured alcohol, Shellac or Boiled linseed oil.You can also squeeze bottle letting the liquid come to the top before you screw the lid on. There are some products like tung oil or others that do not like oxygen and will harden or gel so this type of container that allows you to remove most of the air helps.

Great for the garage
The jugs arrive wrapped as a pack that could be helped for storage in the garage. These are just like the old quart oil jugs in both look and feel. The cap is secured tight on each one and should be good for long term storage with oil in them. My current car takes just under 5 quarts of oil so there's always a little bit of new oil left over after a change, so storing the extra oil in here has been a good move. With some marker and tape these are easily labeled and will work for any automotive fluid.
