Superior Light Output!
Excellent light output. As you get older you find that you need more light to see effectively. Standard LED bulbs just don't produce enough light. These corn bulbs absolutely excel at producing very bright light.

Very bright. Much brighter than the 800 lumen bulb it replaced
These bulbs are bight. Really bright. These are much brighter than the 800 lumen bulb it replaced. They do get hot. I am not sure where someone gets the idea they can be used in an enclosure because they absolutely cannot. They can still be touched with the hand but they are hot. Update: one bulb lasted 11 months in an outdoor, open bottom fixture. Parts of it were melted. This thing gets hot, hot, hot. So bright though. I like the compact size and that they produce more or less 360 degrees of light. Color temp is more towards daylight than soft white but it is not the “screaming horror movie” white light that full daylight bulbs produce.

VERY compact and VERY bright.
So bright it really is hard to look directly into it when you are close to it. In the past, when I wanted really bright light, say the equivalent of a 150W incandescent, you had to get a fairly sizable piece of hardware that most of the time won't fit in fixtures that were designed for old school filament bulbs. This solves that problem. The only question of course is, will it last as long as they say it will. Yes, there are always these wild claims that LEDs have these incrediblely long life-spans, and that is true...except when it isn't. The failure rate of LEDs is quite high -- and I work with all types on a daily basis in our office -- much higher than it ever was with regular filament light bulbs. LEDs don't usually fail out of the box, but I have seen may fail WAY sooner than what you would expect from even an incandescent bulb. There are a LOT of manufactures out there -- mostly all in China -- and I assume quality control is better at some than others. I promise I will report back to let you know what the lifespan of these two LEDs turns out to be.

Bright for the short time they work
I purchased 8 of these "corn style" LEDs to replace some 80 watt HID bulbs (by passed ballasts). They worked well for a few months and then LED groups in the bulbs began failing. After 10 months all bulbs had completely failed except for 1 which failed shortly after. I calculate that most of these failed at less than 3000 hrs, so a far cry from the manufacturers claims! I believe this is a poor design with little heat sink for the high output they provide. Many show burned areas and broken covering plastic. There are several other companies selling what looks like the same bulbs on Amazon and if you dig into the reviews, most say they do not last a year. This mirrors what I observed. There are other designs which will fit the E26 style base but I had only 5" of height in these fixtures (plenty room in diameter) so limited with what would fit in this application. In the mean time I replaced with "conventional" style 20 watt LED bulbs and reviews show these should last a long time, but do not put out the same amount of light.

Nice and bright but only lasted just over a year
Bought these in late Dec. 2022 and installed them in two automatic fixtures outside the garage facing my driveway. They are nice and bright, good enough to provide light over the two-car driveway for my security camera to record in color during the night. Last night (2/15/24) my wife mentioned to me that one of them was not lit. Pulled it out and it appears that one of the LED strips got hot and melted and cracked the plastic shell (red arrow in one of the photos). Went back and looked at the camera recordings and saw that on 2/10/24 in the early morning, the light started decreasing in brightness. It should have remained steady throughout the dark hours. Props for being very bright; not so much for longevity or value for the money. $12.50 for a light that lasted under 14 months. LEDs are supposed to be long lasting so maybe these are being overdriven. It lasted through the summer months when it was fairly warm. It burned out when it wasn't that cold; maybe 40F. It's been colder than many times during the last two winters. The light fixtures are not totally sealed so heat from the lights should be able to escape. Both of them have spiders and webs inside.

Nice and bright
I wish the people who made LED bulbs would understand that it is impossible for them to make a bulb that is too bright. I love the brightness of these bulbs, but if I could I would buy bulbs that were even brighter. My driveway parking area has four "lantern" style lights, each of which holds two candelabra bulbs, which traditionally are limited to 60 watts. This is hardly enough to illuminate a driveway. They don't make hi-lumen bulbs with a candelabra base, so I purchased adapters so that these standard-base bulbs would fit. They do a good job of illuminating my parking area. I also use these bulbs in some indoor fixtures. I really like bright light. I do tend to leave my outdoor lights on 24/7, so I have had to replace some. I'm not upset about it. Overall, I am very happy with this product. I light bright light, and this product provides it.

Problem solver
LED's produce so little heat and in the 3000k color temperature replicate a 300 watt incandescent . This is a perfect fit for a lamp with a shade that makes a lower wattage bulb useless in it. Table and floor lamps now light up whole room.

Tiny But Mighty
Used two of these to replace two 100-watt incandescent bulbs that are confined in a very small translucent light enclosure in a garage door controller. The light was diffused and dimmed by the translucent enclosure shade, so we thought we would give these claimed 5000 lumens bad boys a try despite the terribly scary negative reviews showing melted plastic. Well, we have only had them a day, and so far we are more than satisfied. The lights normally only come on for a few minutes when the garage doors are operated, but they can be manually turned on and off; so even though they are enclosed, the hope is that they will never operate long enough to ever heat up to the point of self-destruction. They very obviously give off at least twice or more light intensity than the old 100-watt bulbs, and the bright light illuminates at least twice the area. I could easily believe that these claimed 5000 lumens LED lights produce the light equivalent of three 1600 lumens incandescent style 100-watt light bulbs. So now the side of the garage our cars drive into is getting bathed in a glorious 10,000 lumens bright light. NOTE OF INTEREST: We actually bought a two-pack of these and a two-pack of a nearly identical LED 5000 lumens light from ZP seller, and aside from the labeling stamped on the light, they are identical in appearance, sizing, and light output.
