I have purchased many and some of them are iffy. do not always work and only some ports work. This one has multiple ports and they all work with my windows or apple macbook pro.. So it is functional. Not sure how long they will last, but it does it job as expected.

I haven’t done anything rough with the cable, unplugged it maybe 4 times. Already having an issue where if it wiggles 1 millimeter while I move the laptop, then everything connected to it gets disconnected.

The hub does not work at all and doesn't charge or transfer AV.

I decided on this hub because it's got good reviews and is not too expensive.It worked out of the box with my M1 Macbook Air. I connected my USB keyboard, USB hub (for extra available ports), and HDMI monitor. I don't use it for charging though as it gets warm after hours of use. I simply use the other thunderbolt port for charging.Also, note that the cable of this hub is a bit thick and firm so that means it's not flexible/bendable. It has to be straight while plugged in. It's about 1 foot long.But overall, it's a good companion for your MacBook.

This hub was prone to interference from the USB C power cable. Worked for a couple of months then all of a sudden HDMI wouldn't work. Disappointed.

Wish it maybe had one more USB-A port, but oh well. As a card reader, USB-A adapter, and HDMI adapter, this is pretty good. The cable is quite long for a hub of this sort, and is flexible enough to connect in several different orientations. Which is good, because you don't want unnecessary strain on your USB-C port, or your hub when you've got a bunch of devices connected.Overall, while again I'd prefer an extra USB-A port or something, this is a decent and sturdy unit.

I have never tried products from this brand "Techtobox" before, but the listed features of this unit caught my eye and I accepted the oppotunity to test it out.I paired this hub with an Acer notebook running Windows 10 and it has basically worked flawlessly in my setup so I have virtually no complaints with this product. This is a very compact device (it obviously has no fan) and the outer shell is an aluminum alloy. I have only felt it get slightly warm at times. I think the alloy shell helps to dissipate the heat.With this Hub, I as able to add another monitor as a secondary display and well as additional USB devices and memory card reader functionality with basically nothing more than a plug and play setup. I really appreciate how simple to use and effective this device is! This is a very versatile device just loaded with features and expansion functionality.At the current listing price of $32.99, I feel that this is good value for money. This Techtobox product has very good build quality and it has worked very well for me. I have encountered no negative issues with it during my testing, so it has impressed me. I have no issues in highly recommending this product and giving this a 5!Recommended!

I use this mainly for getting USB-C data transfer rates off of microSD cards to backup onto hard disks. Being able to plug a micro-SD card directly into it without a secondary adapter is a nice feature.A 256 GB card used to take me about 3.5 hours to transfer. This adapter has cut that down to about 1/2 hour. Colour me impressed and happy.I tried the HDMI port as a secondary monitor output and it worked very well. Nothing I would do any gaming on but for simple text and graphics (web) it worked very well.All in all, a good multi-port adapter that is quite compact and looks nice as well.
