Best GPS unit I've had
Love using the wahoo. I like the summit segments. Connectivity to phone is easy. The live tracking feature is helpful. Connectivity to strava live segments is great. Downloading and following a created route is easy. The directions are clear and the map is accurate. Even when getting off course for construction or whatever reason, the ability to get you back on course is great. I visited Belgium on a bike trip. Obviously not familiar with the country or the roads, I mapped several routes through the Flandrien countryside and followed them all without getting lost once. Allowed me to enjoy the rides and the countryside without worrying about the route and where I was going knowing that I did the route work upfront and it was done correctly and the device properly displayed everything.

I cannot recommend this product enough
My last Bolt stopped working all of a sudden, think something happened when tried to charge it, however it was a no brainer I needed to replace it with a like unit. The app makes setting up your Home Screen easy to do. You can now control your music from the unit. Sensors are easy to pair. I also have the rival watch and the Roam. I use this unit for MTB due to slimmer profile and the roam for road. Only downfall is sometimes takes awhile for the rival to connect for pulse rate. Works great with SRAM Eagle AXS gears to show battery as well as which gear in. Can connect to multiple sports-tracking apps as well.

Pretty seamless, very intuitive and does what I need
I'm very happy with the Bolt V2, which is an upgrade from my Garmin Edge 500. I know that is old tech, but it doesn't change how delighted I am by how well the Bolt just works. It picked up my Garmin sensors, it was easy to sync to Ride with GPS, the buttons are easy to use on the fly and with gloves and the screens, while not as customizable, just work. There was clearly a lot of design thought behind the UI and for my use, they nailed it. I was amazed how it adjusted to a loaded route on the fly without the need to acknowledge the change or mess around with my phone. I am so glad to be able to relegate my phone to my jersey pocket and just ride.

Lots of customization options
This cycling computer works very well. You customize all of the screens and even add new ones. It seems to be pretty accurate with the exception of elevation. Elevation seems to always be wrong. For example, when starting a ride at a known elevation of 14' the Bolt reads 77'. When I return to that same point at the end of the ride, the elevation is now 90'.The ability to customize the screens (pages) is a big plus. Not only can you control exactly what is displayed, you can make the font bigger by limiting the number of items displayed on a screen.Battery life is very good. I would guesstimate around 14 hours of on time.It interfaces very well with my Specialized Turbo Vado ebike. There are some issues. Screen navigation isn't that great. You can only "scroll" in one direction. It would be nice if you could scroll back and forth or toggle between two screens like I can on my iGPSport computer. There should be a way to "mute" a Varia radar. If you are in traffic and the radar is constantly signaling a car behind you, the warning chimes become very obnoxious. Sometimes the screen is difficult to see. This is especially true if you are wearing sunglasses and the screen is being shaded by your body.

Great battery life. Superior user interface
I purchased this after returning a Garmin 530. The Wahoo is better in almost every way, except one: The user interface and menus are bright and clear and easy to navigate, even without a touch screen. Battery life is exceptional. A typical 1 hour ride ends with 92% battery life remaining. The fonts and screen resolution is easy to read and see even under high noon sunshine and the automatic backlight comes in handy when the light starts to fade or you go under dense trees. The auto upload to Strava and Apple Health is flawless and quick. The only quibble is that the out front bar mount seems a bit flimsy compared to the one on the Garmin. The EDGE also doesn't control lights via the new ANT+ lighting protocol for smart lights. That's something that Wahoo needs to fix.

Essential bike gear
V2 of the Elemnt Bolt is a great upgrade from my original V1. This tiny little device is so easy to use and provides a wealth of information for mileage tracking, training, and navigation.

Provides all I need.
Setup was easy, connecting sensors was fast. Provides all the rider info I need along with GPS tracking that gives me what I need on my local rides. It's best feature is the screen. It has been visible and clear in all the lighting condition (mostly early morning) that I have encountered. Would buy again.
