MOOG K5103 Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint for Chevrolet Camaro

There are good ball joints and made in the USA. If you’re using them in aftermarket a-arms, be ready for a fight. Getting the Chinese junk out is the worst part. I finally removed the arm from my car and took it to my hydraulic press. It still took hours of struggling to get it.

These did as asked. I bought a set of control arms for my 67 camaro, but they came with unknown cheaper quality ball joints install. I wanted to know that I had very good quality pieces in there, on such a vital part of the car, so I bought these to switch the unknown ones out. The worst part is the process to remove the old set and install these new ones. Its a little intense using a hydraulic press and waiting for the original ones to "pop" out of the arms. Going in not too bad but you want to make sure they are nice and straight as you crank down the pressure to seat them in.

On my 71' Cutlass (w/ original control arms) Had an issue with an ACDelco lower ball joint fitting into the slot way too easily (old slot seemed to be stretched out a bit). Found that the MOOG K5103 was the perfect solution. It fit the old control arm nice and snug and pressed in really nice.
