It does the thing
Yup, they function as advertised (although I have no way to accurately measure the output voltage). Pretty terrifying honestly. Not a toy.

It does indeed produce high voltage from low voltage input, I would not recommend on the low voltage end anything higher than 4.5v (3xaaa or 3xaa batteries)

These arc generators I use in bug zappers
Like I said I use um in the big zappers my family always wants an up graded bug zap and I've been using 9volt and people are still using the bats but ive been caught out with broken generators i never heard back any way 👍
