Best tack I have invested in, definitely worth the money.
Best tack I have invested in, definitely worth the money. It doesn't slide on the horse at all and forms to its back very well, not putting to much pressure on any certain point but distributes it nicely. Very comfortable and grippy for rider as well but still thin enough to feel the horses movement. I would highly recommend this pad to anyone, its going to be the main thing I ride with from now on.

I had heard great things about this pad -- they were all true
I had heard great things about this pad -- they were all true. This pad gives my horse more comfort than having my seat bones right on her back which makes both of us more relaxed. The included girth should fit just about any horse as the billets have such an enormous range of holes. This pad really does stay put better than any other I have ever tried. It looks really sharp, and all of the materials and stitching show high quality control. If you are looking for a good quality bareback pad, I recommend the ThinLine.

Brilliant!!!
An exceptional bareback pad. I've tried others... this one is the absolute best!!! Price? So what?!?! You (usually) get what you pay for and this is no exception. Secure as non-slip (trust me... I tried making it slip and it just wouldn't.) Comfortable like CRAZY!!! Pick the choppiest (gate wise) horse with a shark fin wither (our 32 year old mare) and my "family jewels" were grateful!!! LOL (I'm a guy, and have tried riding the old gal purely bareback... latest 15 seconds into the trot and I was done-like-dinner. Other pads... 40 seconds.) Highly recommended to anyone!!! If I could rate it more stars, I would.

Looks nice, but don't like material
Think it's a decent pad- but the underside is notated well. Several areas had too much " fabric" which will bunch up and be uncomfortable fir horse( could cause rubbing). The seat area is pretty slippery-and the suede is man-made.I will get myself another Macpherson leather bareback pad.

Eh
I’m actually pretty disappointed with this pad. I was aware of the materials used (I hate microsuede), but decided to try anyway because I’d read several positive reviews. I am a ranch working girl who rides in jeans, and I actually found the vinyl-like material on the seat to be quite slick. If you are a fancy English person that rides in half or full seat breaches, your grip experience might be quite different. But for the general pleasure rider looking for something with a grip factor similar to real suede, this is probably not the bareback pad for you. I will say, the pad is pretty looking and the squishy seat feels nice on my bum, but for $160+ I’d like to see better quality materials than microsuede and vinyl. I will be returning this and purchasing another diamond wool suede pad, which is what I have now.

Best bearback pad
Best bearbackpad I ever use, but sometime the pad will slip a littel to one side.

Worthy investment!
My daughter loves this for her 16.2h QH. the saddle fits him, stays in place and is comfortable for him as well.

Color is off...
I had to return it twice because the color was purple-ish not black and it looked faded. Id love to have one though.
