Everybody needs a box cutter.And you cannot get any cheaper than these, plus, you get enough to share with someone else, or to keep one in the kitchen and one in the garage or your toolbox. I keep the plastic protector over the blade, as I am prone to bleeding from the slightest cut. Nice safety feature I might add.If you order a lot of stuff off Amazon, you have a supply of boxes to put in the trash, and most could be cut down in some way. Even the ones you save can store better when flat, so think about doing it instead of throwing them into the closet. Tape is easy to apply as well, when reusing the boxes.

These are great for breaking down boxes and opening plastic packaging that is impossible to open without a razor blade sharp cutter like this. The handle is strong heavy plastic. These are not heavy metal contractor grade, but would last a good while cutting sheetrock. They are great for household purposes and since they are lightweight, are easy to carry in a purse or pocket. They come with 10 replacement blades and the blades are strong and extremely sharp of high quality. I am ordering a second set of 4 because you can never have too many blades around for opening packages or cutting things.

This 5 pak of box cutters are pretty nice. I'm buying a set because I never have one around when I need it, it's always somewhere else, so with 5 more, hopefully, I'll always be able to at least find one! The opening/latching mechanism appears to work just fine, and the action is tight. I'd prefer an unlocking pin on the side, but these are on the top rear. Personal preference I guess. The only other comment I'd make is that I wish they were about 1/2" longer in the hand grip. I have larger hands, and these are just a TAD small. Otherwise, they are just fine.

Good product for the price. The handles are plastic, so I don't know how long they will last, but you do get 4 and extra blades. Great for cutting boxes from Amazon, but maybe not durable enough for a construction site.

These are great box openers! The blade is incredibly sharp. We open up a lot of Amazon boxes around here, and use these to open up all of those boxes. We've been using them for weeks now and I haven't detected the blade strength deteriorating at all. They are extremely well made and easy to use with good grip as well. I love how easy it is to open and close the blade, so I don't have to worry about cutting myself.

Great knives. I like the secure closing procedure, safe and easy. The colors are nice. The only thing I could say that could use improvement is the piece the holds the knife to you pocket gets loose easily.

I just finished cutting up a lot of boxes with one of these knives. The handle is short but blade is the sharpest I've ever used. It made cutting through heavy duty boxes from Costco a breeze.

Very sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap and the grip is good. All four came in individually wrapped plastic bags, and a separate box with 10 replacement blades. Professionally packaged.If you want a legal, multipurpose self-defense tool, this can work. ;-)It fits well in ladies jeans - front or back pocket.The colors are quite vivid, the green especially.
