Ankarsrum Original Stand Mixer, AKM6230, Black Chrome

I bake bread weekly and this is so much better than a kitchenaid. Truly heavy duty. I have no issues using my sourdough recipe with it the first try. It is super fast and makes me want to make more delicious bread. total love at first sight

I absolutely love this mixer. I love everything about it. My wife doesn’t like the mixing bowl with the middle obstruction.

First round with the Ankasrum & a dry dough (bao) went poorly. After that round, went to Ankasrum's videos on YouTube and followed along and used the recipes provided in the Ankasrum recipe book for the next 5 recipes, got used to it. It's amazing. There is a noticeable difference in the bread texture between the Ank & a KitchenAid stand mixer. The majority of the recipes made are breads, but it does great with cookies and cakes too, for me it's a 70/30 split in how I use it.
