Chef Specialties 6.5 Inch Gem Combo Pepper Mill and Salt Shaker

I've had similar, if not the same, for decade at least. Very handy to have salt and pepper mill in one unit, and the unit does not take up much space. It is tall enough that it is visible even on cluttered table. Every once in awhile I empty our unit and send through dishwasher. Comes out looking brand new, no fingerprints or grease stains.

This is my third or fourth salt and pepper grinder combo. This might be my favorite so far, it is pretty enough to set out even on a holiday table, and the pepper grinder is excellent. You can even control how much salt comes out each time you shake it.

This is not a cheap version, but the real deal and best of all you can adjust the grinder from fine to coarse. The cheaper ones do not have this feature. I do wish the holes for the salt were bigger for Kosher salt, but I am handy and drilled them out with a drill press.

This combo Salt Shaker & Pepper Grinder is very well made. Solid lucite, not cheap plastic. Actual product comes in as depicted in its listing. It arrives very nicely packaged as well. The only thing that could be improved upon would be filling & use instructions, as it takes a few moments to figure out it.

This thing is the best.

We like a combo that grinds the pepper but not salt and this is it.

I’ve had it two months and am as pleased now as when I tried it at the restaurant. It is easy to refill, easy to dispense, allows adjustment for amount of salt dispensed, easily adjusts pepper coarseness all the way from fine to very coarse, is easy to keep clean, easy to turn - as far as I’m conerned, a perfect product.

Just opened the package........what an ordeal! It works so there's that. Component integrity seems shaky. I still have an original pampered chef that this is attempting to mimic. As the title states, it's ok but by no stretch of the imagination does it match the earlier item's quality.
