My first spool of silver silk thread! It is very delicate. I am planning to use it to wrap around home made tassels. I love the pewter-ish silver color, not garish at all.

This is an extremely fine silk thread and is perfect for sewing delicate fabrics. I prefer slightly heavier weight silk thread for tacking purposes but this is so fine it hardly leaves any marks when it is removed after tacking, but tends to get in a tangle if I sew with too long a thread. Lovely colour!
