Sunity 5m TV LED Backlight, USB Led Strip Light for TV of 55 60 65 72 75 82 inch, APP Control and No Interference with Your TV's Remote

Bought these to use as cornice lights on our newly fitted kitchen. Everything about them seems much improved on previous sets we have had. The transformer and connections all connect well. The wire could be longer though it is no shorter than others; the only way of extending it is by splicing which isn’t recommended. They stick well on a good clean surface and they are bright. Don’t be misled by other reviews, RGB is an acronym for Red Green Blue and NOTHING to do with connection type!! The connections on these are different and not interchangeable with our old sets. These connections are a big improvement and should not put you off buying them. I have just bought a second set.

Used as featured shelf lighting. Tried them in a few different possitions and the adhesion of the sticky tape was still strong enough to hold in position. Colours are very good and bright and the remote works extremely well. Overall I was very pleased with the results. I won't hesitate to buy again if I need some more.

Bought this for my daughter & she is over the moon with them. Bought a 10m kit & it pretty much went all around the perimeter of her bedroom. You can join the strips if you need to cut the strip (or add more). These joiners are in the kit including a T piece. Easy to install. The adhesive strip is very sticky & so needs a bit of care when putting the LED strip in place. I mounted the IR sensor at high level (sticky fixing is supplied) & the wire to the plug in transformer is long enough to drop to the floor (sticky clips provided). The strip looks a bit odd at first when it is in situ because you see the components but you soon stop taking too much notice of that. The colour range is great - lots of colours to choose from (including white) & you can adjust the brightness. Can also adjust the flashing/fading.

The remote only works from 50 cm max. Any farther and no possibility of control. Actually, even within that distance the results vary. Very frustrating to use. I imagined being able to sit in my chair along with the other tv remotes and enjoy the led back light. When I can get it on, it does work as expected. It was quite sticky but went on the back of the tv effectively. The cable between the receiver and the led strip is maybe 25 cm which means you don't have much flexibility in positioning the receiver. With all the flashing and colour options which I don't need, it seems like more development should have gone into the actual working by remote. I left seller feedback but did not receive any messages. I am trying to figure out how to return it as it is stuck to the back of my tv.
