If you are talking about the golf cart sun shade screen - no it is not electric. You manually have to put it on the cart yourself kind of like putting on a backpack to fit yourself. When I first started using it, I needed another person to help me, but once you get the hang of it, you can do it yourself. Also, keep in mind, golf carts come in all sizes and this screen will be a little short in length and height for larger, newer carts.
