Great CDN printer with easy SETUP!
After the horrendous Amzon Prime experience ( I received my order in 7 days instead of the promised 2 day delivery and ignorant Amazon Prime support)I finally got my printer installed and connected to my network. At the time of our purchase this printer was a steal at 183$ it has pretty much everything you'd ask for from a modern laser printer! But I can easily recommend to go for it if you find it under 300's...Setup took around 60 seconds! It was pretty straight forward.I don't think I will ever need the wifi adapter, I hooked it up to my wireless router and in no time without any driver installation or whatsoever my windows pc's recognized it right away. And after installing Lexmark's Android App to my mobile I could control the printer through my mobiles on the same wifi network without any glitch. This is our first day with it and we are pretty happy with it, if there are any updates I will keep our comments posted here...

Works great when it will function.
We purchased this printer for home office use and it printed about 500 pages in the first year. It produces great looking copies and prints. About six months in started displaying firmware errors 900.00 if we cycled the power a few times we could get it past the errors. I called Lexmark tech support and upgraded the firmware, did this a couple of times but the errors were getting more frequent and impossible to resolve. I finally figured out that something inside the printer electronics was breaking down with heat, the printer would function when it was cold but if it had been powered up for an hour forget about it, non-functional. I called Lexmark tech one more time armed with the problem further defined. Tech support finally agreed with me that it was a hardware problem but since the printer was now 18 months old and had a 12 month warranty they couldn't do a thing for me. I called the Lexmark Sales Dept to see if they would give me some kind of a coupon to help offset the cost of replacing this machine, left a message and never got a call back. I have had good experiences with Lexmark equipment at work but this printer has just been a time and money pit.

Meh
The mobile app sucks. The refills are kind of pricey. The web interface feels very 2010. I've had this error flashing about setting up a SMTP server that I cant get to go away. All that being said it prints really well when it wakes up. It's not a sexy looking printer, but seems reliable.

Nice printer, a few quibbles about space requirements and/or accessibility issues, but otherwise very happy
I've been using this for a few weeks now and think I can finally comment and review this item with some reasonable level of familiarness with the product. For the most part, I like this printer. I researched quite a bit before buying this particular printer, looking for specific features. I was replacing an Epson Inkjet printer that had worked well enough, but which suffered, as they (inkjet's) all seem to -- eventually clogging the print head and printing poorly despite repeated attempts to "clean the print heads" using the built-in functionality. I think I got a reasonable amount of life out of that printer, but given fairly limited amounts and sporadic nature of my printing needs, inkjets just don't seem to be the best for me.But... despite the issues with the inkjets, there is the cost thing - both for the printer and for the printer supplies. Inkjet cartridges aren't cheap, but there is a big difference between the price for those cartridges and the cost of the toner for a printer such as this one. That was and remains an area of concern, along with the question of just how easy getting replacements may be if I should run out of toner and need to replace it on short notice (meaning that if I had to go to a local brick and mortar and see about getting cartridges, how easy would that be?) To be fair, you get plenty of notice that toner is running low (as you also tend to get with inkjets running low on ink) so you should be able to order replacements in plenty of time unless you have a lot of printing to do on very short notice. Of course when you do replace the toner for this beast, you'll be spending a bit to do so. Not necessarily an unreasonable amount, just a bit spendy compared to inkjet carts.Feature wise, I had purchased a Dell E-525W color laser printer that I took into work and while it worked OK, one complaint with it was that it doesn't do automatic duplexing and in order to duplex (print on both sides) you have to run your output back through the printer so print the second side. That works, but isn't terribly convenient. I'd rather have an auto-duplexing unit so when I print larger amounts (or even with smaller amounts of printing) I use less paper and am less wasteful with my printing. This printer was one of few color laser printers that I found here at the A to Z store that actually did include auto-duplexing, or at least did so at a reasonable purchase price. While I could have chosen more ex-spense-ive printers that would do the auto-duplexing I really didn't want to br-eak my b-a-n-k and overshoot my budget.A few small complaints come to mind with this printer -- mostly in terms of size and/or in convenience for setting it up. The toner cartridge is installed on the right side of this printer, meaning you'll need to keep the area to the right of this printer open and available in case you need to change the cartridge. That limits the options for how you'll set this up a little. In terms of printer output, the output comes out of the back of the printer (depending on how you set the printer up and/or have it facing). That means you'd need space available in the back of the printer to help make it easier to get to the output. Again, a little restrictive on how you'll get to set this on your desk or in your work space. For loading paper, same sort of issue. You need to get to the front of the printer. Again restricting your ability to put this into a space where something may be in front of the printer tray. Finally, you have the top lid and/or automatic document feeder which also somewhat dictates how you'd set this up in your space.Oh, I also need to comment that this thing is big. Some might even say huuuuuu-ge. Seriously, it's not that small (insert that's what she said joke here). It takes up a good bit of desktop space, and space above the actual "floor space" under it.Outside of those issues and/or comments, and getting back to output quality, speed, color quality, and the other important things -- I really have no complaints. It just works, it works quickly, and it isn't that noisy. Yeah, it makes some mechanical noises and such while it works and it shakes a little as it does work, it isn't out of the ordinary and isn't annoying at all.All told, if you find this at a tolerable cost level for your own budget, I think you'd be very happy with it. 4 solid stars for my tastes.

Expensive to operate at home
Do not buy this printer if you are merely looking for a wireless laser printer for home. I made that mistake. It requires both a toner cartridge and 4 ink cartridges, and they are expensive...close to $500 to replace them all. And you can't buy the cartridges at your local office supply store. Additionally you must buy a separate print server in order to print wirelessly, and, in general, it's just way more complex than the ordinary printer. But the print quality is excellent. The only setup documentation I received was one page that wasn't very clearly printed.I seriously wish I had not bought this printer, and I should have sent it back. It's heavy, bulky, and I could never get it back in that box. I bought it to replace a wired Canon laser printer, which I have decided to keep, because it's so much cheaper to operate. Next time, I'll do my homework more thoroughly, and I will never buy another Lexmark for home.

Great Purchase!
I have a small home office. This printer was easy to set up and configure using the CD that came with it. It is a workhorse, quiet and very fast. You will not be disappointed with this all in one laser printer by Lexmark. The photo is from the set up stage, and you need a solid table for it because it is heavy. No shakes and wobbles and noise like the cheap printers you can buy anywhere. Comes packaged in a large, very heavy box with plastic handle cut outs and packed very efficiently. No bumps, bruises or errors during shipment. Would definitely purchase again if need be.
