Must Have for Baby!
We have a high tech video monitoring system that ALWAYS has issues. I got this one in a pinch rather than purchasing a new video monitor. I have to say, this is the best monitor I’ve purchased and a must have for baby. It’s easy to set up, battery powered, and never has any issue. I like that I can move the receiving monitor around (wherever baby falls asleep) and can hear him wherever I go in the house. It travels well and the battery lasts at least all day. If I could do it over again, I’d skip the video monitor and just purchase this instead. More modern features are not always worth the hassle.

Great wireless monitor!
It took me so long to find a monitor that was wireless on both ends so I was so happy to find this one! I am a nanny and bring my baby with me so I needed a monitor that was mobile and I could just keep in my bag.Pros- truly wireless, good sound quality, long range, background/white noise doesn’t come through unless there is other noise as well, so it’s silent unless baby is moving around.Cons- the child unit dies a lot quicker than the parent unit (even when you aren’t using the light), and there is no indicator on either end that the battery is low. There have been many times that I have put baby down for a nap and a few minutes later hear the beep telling me that the monitor is disconnected because the other end died. So I just have to charge it after one or two naps so it doesn’t die, or just keep it plugged in while he naps. The parent end lasts longer and does tell you when the battery is low, so it would be nice for the other end to be the same.

Just what I needed
I can hear the baby on the first floor when she is upstairs and sleeping. I love that I am able to speak to her as I am coming to get her. It has a nightlight so I don't have to turn on the overhead lighting in the middle of the night. Also it has a music mode as well. This is just what I needed to be able to hear our sweet little girl.

Sound cuts out
We have had them for a bit. And now the sound is cutting out. I have to press the talk button to make it come back on and that only lasts for a few seconds.

Terrible battery life!
I bought this set thinking I could use them when we travel (we visit family often) I wasted good money on what I thought was a reliable brand. The battery life for these things don't even last 3 hours! I was very upset with this. I will NEVER buy this for anyone and honestly I know question the reliability of the brand as well. Not worth the money.

Stopped working
Stopped working after a month. We bought it to camp with and the batteries only last for one nap. I brought a ton of backup batteries. The second time we camped with it, the sound would work for about 3-4 minutes and then stop. Wouldn’t recommend.

Our favorite monitors
Have other monitors by vtech but like these ones the most. Nice thing is that the other vtech ones don’t interfere with these so we can use both in different rooms. Biggest reasons I like these best is knowing the temperature in the baby’s room and the parent unit plugs in but is also battery operated so when the power goes out it doesn’t just kick off without me knowing while I sleep.

Good for the amount you pay
I've tried these out a couple of times since I bought them, they work really well. My only complaint is, it think it recorded my baby crying somehow and will play it on the parent device on a timed loop. So several times I hear my baby crying through it, and when I run to check on baby, he's fast asleep and nothing is wrong with him.
