We bake sandwich bread in an 8x4" bread pan and this fits it perfectly with ample room to seal it at the top (with a twisty tie). It also holds a 9" circular focaccia and other breads. The 18" length allows it to be flexible.The bags are thinner than expected, and I have no way to determine if the description here is correct thickness wise.

I purchased these bags to donate to my senior center. A local bakery donates their day olds to the center-and these bags are perfect for packing up the bread & bagels. I liked them so much after my first order, that I purchased them again for home use.

These bags are a great investment for my large loaves of bread.If you need stronger bags for heavy stuff it might be to thin.I will purchase this item again when needed.

They are thinner then I hoped, but great size for my Pullman breads. I double bag for freezer and still good buy.

We do a lot of fresh produce and this bag is perfect for lettuce mixes or whole heads. Keeps it all from looking crowded and is easy to pull from the box.
