Mr.ShieldScreen Protector compatible with Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) [Will Not for 2016 Version] [Tempered Glass] [3-PACK] [Japan Glass with 9H Hardness]

There is a lot of space around the edge left uncovered which leaves a great place for dust and grime to collect. It JUST covers the viewing part of the screen, so the edge of the glass sits exactly on the edge of the viewing screen which creates a rainbow effect there and it is distracting. Because the screen is curved it lifts up around the edge and leaves a discolored part there. I know the manufacturers are aware of the curve problem and mentioned it in the description, but, wouldn't it make more sense to have the protector cover the screen completely so that the bit that lifts up wouldn't​ be impeding our view and creating this rainbow effect?Update:After leaving my two star review I was sent a modified screen protector which has a much better design than the previous one. My new rating is for this design. They made it larger and put a black border around the edge which covers up any lifting edges and gets rid of the rainbow effect that was happening at the edge of the glass. My only complaint is that I don't like how the black covers most of the front except for cut outs over the Samsung name and icons over the invisible buttons at the bottom, I feel it looks cheap and weird for a phone that has a very clean and nice looking front. Would prefer the black strip to be around the screen's edges only and the rest to be clear. Nevertheless, this a good protector and if they continue to make and sell this design I will repurchase it.

Had ordered a thin and flimsy screen protector at first, but it showed all kinds of defects in the screen. So went back to a thicker glass protector and had my friend expertly install it..it's now perfect! Arrived really quick in the mail too!Update** I've bought two packs of these screen protectors so far, and they fit very nicely and look great on my Galaxy A5 (2017 version). However, my problem is that I keep dropping my phone, and have done so at least 4 or 5 times this past year, and this screen protector has always cracked around the edges and spread inward every single time. I guess for this price it's pretty acceptable, but I'm going to try a strong screen protector once the last piece in the box is used up.

I read paint54's review below before I ordered this from Mr.Shield, thinking that they must have updated the screen protectors with the modified version in paint54's second review... unfortunately they did not and i received the same bad screen protector that paint54 initially received...so the same problems as paint54 wrote:1. lot of space around the edge left uncovered2. the screen protector does not fit the screen curved edges so the entire edge is filled with an air bubble ring as shown in the photo

Used it for less than a full day and already broke. I didn't even throw or hit the phone.It mention in the description that it doesn't cover the curved edges of the phone but it doesn't stick in the edges of the protector either!It's really really bad.Lo usé por menos de un día y ya se rompio en un borde. No lo golpee ni tiré en ningún momento.En la descripción avisa que no cubre los bordes curvos del teléfono, pero aún así, tampoco pega bien en los propios bordes del protector.Es pésimo.

I am not sure if it was my product only may be a defect. I used two of the screen protectors but both had screen overlap left side and top side with bubble so won’t stick to screen to my samsung A5

Not the same product as advertised.I bought this two years back and the screen protector was great. It worn out after two years so I decided to buy the same item (looked it up in my previous purchases and bought it again). It turns out it is not the same screen protector and it is smaller (it doesn't even cover the entire screen).I won't ever buy it again.

All glasses broke while removing the film! Film is on it pretty tight. I've change so many screen protections, but this on is the worst! Not even covering the whole screen.Glass has also all kinds of marks on it.

I bought the version for galaxy a5. This protector isnt made for this phone or something cuz the edges didn't stick down. The phone curves a tiny and the screen protector does not. Very annoyed to have spent my money on this
