Old Review: Gimbal will no longer work, fails at initialization when filters are put on the camera.My gimbal will not calibrate if I add on the filter to my Mavic Pro. Very disappointed and will be requesting a refund or some direction to make them work.Update 1 star to 3: I finally used a great deal of force and finally got one filter on all the way and it calibrated just fine. So, the tip to make sure it is evenly on the camera and there is no gold showing. However, the foam on mine are a little loosely glued or maybe someone already tried to install them because the foam is a little flanged up on the outside edge and it makes it hard to get them on. Anyway, nice filters just know, you will likely have to put a lot of pressure on the camera and gimbal and even with the gimbal lock on, be sure to hold the gimbal very stable while applying forceful pressure to install the filters and they seem to go on. Its just a little nerve racking to have to put that much pressure to me. DJI really should have added threads to the outer edge of the camera to accept filters.

Great filters, for the hobbyist this is a much more reasonable buy than other brands that cost over $100 for the same thing. From taking pictures in various light conditions I can say that I'm happy with the way it looks. I'll make note again, I'm a hobbyist and not a photography expert so when I look at a picture I took I just want it to be in focus and look good to the untrained eye and these filters have helped a lot with it. My biggest con with the filters is the bag that they come in. It has a mesh netting over the filters to hold them in place. It makes me nervous that at some point it could cause micro scratches that would lead to anomalies in the photo. To mitigate my (potentially irrational) fears I put them back in the plastic bag prior to putting them back under the mesh. The filter I find myself using the most is the UV filter as it fits most of my needs. As for the other filters I change them out based on the situation and use an app on my phone to figure out which one I need prior to flying. I think any hobbyist would be happy with these filters and would feel like they got a great deal.

I was having some major issues with jello in my mavic videos and needed to try a filter and went ahead and bought these. I was able to get 3/4 on my mavic with a bit of effort and it did get rid of the jello which I was grateful for. On the ND16 I was unable to get the filter all the way one, there is a little fabric ring which are in the filters to protect the camera but the ND 16's fabric was all folded and uneven.

This item now comes with a plastic case to keep the lenses in instead of a soft case. The new case definitely keeps the lenses protected and stationary in transit. I was not pleased with the fit of the lenses on my drone, it took much more force to put them on than I was comfortable with. When I expressed my concern, the customer service representative was absolutely wonderful and did everything they possibly could to make sure I was satisfied in the end. It could have been a fluke where maybe the filter lenses or even the lenses on the drone was manufactured slightly out of spec to make them tough to fit - hard to say. I'd recommend purchasing. If there is a problem, this company's customer service will definitely take care of you.

I really like this item. I did notice that a reviewer stated that his Hobby Tiger ND filters did not pass calibration and it may have been because he did not have it seated correctly onto the camera. When dealing with a small camera and very fragile gimbal this would be easy to not get it set correctly. Mine did pass calibration and it had no problems with a gimbal overload or anything of the sort. I would like to give you a few tips of things I earned while trying my ND filters and putting them on. Make sure you leave your gimbal clamp in place while putting on the filters to get the best fit onto the camera and do not touch the screen. If you do it will leave a fingerprint and you will come out with very blurry footage. After applying the filter check to see if you have smudged it and if you have clean it off and you are ready to take video or photos! The item comes in a great little carry pouch that fits in my mavic bag very easily and inside the pouch is a UV filter, ND4, ND8 and an ND 16. You can use these to get whatever shot you may desire! Below I have posted a couple of pictures the first will be one taken without a filter and the second will have the ND 8 Filter to try to get a nice dusk shot. The settings are exactly the same the only thing that changes is the application of the filter.

Unfortunately after thorough examination and review. I have received a pack of filters, in which two of the filters have build flaws. On the inside of the filter there is a felt like material. On two of my filters this material was not put on properly, and therefore these filters do not fully swat themselves properly on my camera lens. I will be seeking a full refund. Very disappointed as I am going on a trip within the next week and was hoping to have these to capture some video.The two filters that seat properly do work great, unfortunately the are the UV and ND4 which is not going to cut the sunlight as much as I need.

Mine didn’t pass the gimbal Calibration. Debating sending it back, literally tried everything. At this point I’m scared of breaking my gimbal. That’s how much force I’ve applied to try and get it to sit well. I’ll give it a 4 star because it actually works if you turn on your gimbal then apply it later on after the calibration. Flying with it is good as well. But I either have to get mine replaced or buy from a whole different brand.

ND4 and ND8 won't fit like UV and ND16. The felt is glued sloppily and weakly. Would be amazing if I could just return the 2 defective for 2 known to be good. I hear hobbytiger has good customer support
