This clay press is perfect if you are just starting out or only the occasional crafter. I will be upgrading soon, but it works for now. My chief issues are the limited number of thickness settings and the fact that the handle is constantly falling off. If you don't use it often, it would be a great value purchase for you, but if you want something more durable, spend the extra money.

This product is a little on the cheaper side… mine did break after a few uses where you adjust the thickness… but I still use it. This is the second type of clay roller I’ve bought and it is cheaper in feel and in use than the other one I ordered from Sculpey…if your a beginner this is great until your ready to graduate to a better one.

I'm confined to a wheelchair and it's VERY difficult to have to lean down every 5 seconds because the handle falls off and into the floor. Additionally the clay will NOT roll evenly. There were NO instructions. The clamp is such that you have to use the end of a table to clamp the machine onto it, and when I only have a round table, that's useless unless I want to have to put the clay through the machine and TRY to use it at a 45 degree angle! There is blue and white plastic stuck all over the machine that won't come off. One of my most regrettable purchases from Amazon.

The clay cutters are a nice addition also. Found tons of uses for them.
