They are very comfortable and the palm and wrist protection is awesome
These are comfortable to wear and even better when your hands hit the pavement they save your palms and wrist i think These are the best ones to have the fit very snug and youll keep your skin where it belongs you also have good mobility in your wrist when just wearing them, top quality for your hands and wrist

Better product
Better protection. I slammed a couple times, they did better than the standard wrist guards. If they don't wear or tear quickly, I would definitely buy again. They run kinda small and may seem a little difficult to slide them on at first. After a few days, you will figure out how to slide them on quickly. I think they loosen a bit as well. My only problem: I've been called Robo Cop at the park.

Best wrist guards ever
These are so much better than your standard wrist guards. They add protection to a wider area of your palm and last longer due to this wider area distributing impact better. These also stay in place much better than a standard wrist guard and will, therefore, be more comfortable. They can be a little difficult to slide on, but fight perfect once in place. A nice benefit to these guards, is the benefits they add to sliding. Because of the wide plate, you can slide on these when doing hard turns, slides for roller derby, jam-skate dances, or even inline skate slide tricks. These wrist guards will help add tricks to your library and, of course, help protect that precious wrist from damage. I would say one downside to these is they can make planting on quarter pipes more difficult as the plate has less friction on a coping. So planting is still possible, but takes practice to get it right again. Don't worry though, cause you have plenty of finger movement to compensate for this. If you like using wrist guards, then these are probably the best ones you can get. They last a long time and are only like $20. Very much worth the cost. So get them already. Your wrists will thank you and you might start sliding with the best of them.

Better than the splint style, tight fit.
I skate every single day. I was burning through the other style of 187 wrist guards with the plastic splint, repairing them constantly with shoe goo and STILL purchasing several sets per year. These Derby style guards seem much more sturdy and resistant to skids on concrete. They fit smaller/tighter than the splint style so the medium I purchased is a pain to slip on and off but no biggie. The full palm sized skid plate seems way less likely to tear through the fabric the way the splint style always did. These hurt a little more when you fall on them, the skid plate edge bruised my palm for a few days after a slam but the medium is a little small on me, so perhaps thats why the edge got my palm? Ive skidded across the concrete a few times with them and the plastic plates seem to be holding up and preventing my palms from being meat crayons, I wish they were maybe a little thicker so they dont sand through too fast but so far way better and sturdier than the splint style.

Derby Guards
Wrist guards are amazing. But would size up if you are unsure, seems to run a little small.

Light Duty wrist protection. Great for skating but Size up!
These are the perfect balance of protection and comfort. I needed something that I could wear on my daily commute on my electric skateboard. Something I could stash easily in my backpack when not in use and I can get on and off easily. These were the quickest on/off due to it’s a simple glove-like design. The molded plastic palm guards cover the entire base of your hand unlike the splint style. The stiff plastic guard feels solid but flexible due to it being thinner overall but covers a wider part of your hand. It’s a single piece that connects to the wrist brace and tightens down with a thick wrist strap. Perfect for skating. Maybe not as much wrist protection as stiffer bulkier splint guards. I can flex my wrist a bit but can also grab my board easier. The sweatband on top is a nice touch and covers your knuckles. Size up! I followed the sizing instructions and ordered the large but could barely get my hand in them. The XL is perfect. Might be ladies sizing? 5 starz!

Best wrist guards I've bought to date!
I'm a 50 and already went through the decade of wearing pads while learning. I also don't do tricks anymore but I bought these for my 10yr old daughter who is OBSESSED to learn to skate. We've been working at it on and off for years and these guards are without a doubt the most comfortable while still doing the job. They don't have a ridiculous over kill of guard and material. It's just right and only has the proper coverage that's needed so when you slam your wrists are good to go. I HIGHLY recommend ALWAYS wear at minimum wrist guards. Coming from someone who has broke nearly everything at one point. These wrist guards are the only ones you'll want. Sure you can do what I 1st did and go for the all in one wrist, knee, elbow cheap set from a company that I can't pronounce. And have the same experience I did with your kid refusing to wear anything because their all so bulky and total over kill that make it impossible to even skate. Or spend $25 on excellent wrist guards and have your grom wear em every time. We play and do sports all year long and a broken wrist at any time would ruin soccer, baseball, surfing, Kung Fu, swimming etc. These are a must

Roller Derby Player - my favorite equipment
I specifically only buy these style of wrist guards because they are reliable, they protect me, but more importantly they dont have a hard protective piece on the back of my wrist. You may be reading this and this, wait dont you want to protect that too? but no, it just causes me unnecessary pain during all aspects of training and gameplay. So these wrist guards dont have that and I can play for fluidly and without pain.

had to come up with plan B after my wrist injury. oh man .. saved me already at least twice 😅 fits perfect (went for size S - but very small wrist), perfect for skating (especially after a fracture).

So much better than the ones with the curved plastic placed on the wrist as that is what ends up hurting you. These ones are flat against your wrist/palm and snug.

They where a gift for Christmas that I got, but really they are more a gift to the beautiful people I play Roller Derby with, who are on the track with me, in a tripod. Way less bruised upper arms with these! Also they do the protection with way more ability to move, to readjust your skates and so on!

Wrist guard fits exactly as per chart. I am a petite lady and wrist measurement was on the upper border of the small but had too exchange as they were quite snug, medium fits well. They fit comfortably and are not bulky.
