Okay, so here’s the scoop: I’m giving this book stand 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason it’s not getting a perfect score is that the books don’t stay fully open. They do stay open, just... not as much as I’d like. But honestly, for the price and all the other perks, I’m still pretty happy with it.What I really love about this stand is that it’s not bulky. I can literally take it apart in one second and stash it away without it taking over my space—bye, clutter! Unlike other stands I’ve seen, this one doesn’t demand all the room when it’s set up. It’s sleek, stylish, and doesn’t feel like it’s trying to take over my kitchen counter or desk. And let’s not forget the wooden vibe design—it’s like the “I’m a calm, collected adult” aesthetic we all strive for.So, if you need a cute, compact stand that doesn’t scream for attention but still does the job, this one’s a solid choice. Just don’t expect your book to stay wide open like it’s on display at a library. But hey, I’ll take the cute wooden vibes any day!

Every Christmas I try to give my daughter (late 20’s now) Christmas gifts that have a sort of theme. This past year (‘24) I chose “cooking”. This rustic wooded white cookbook holder is the most beautiful and functional thing for the man or woman who just doesn’t dig having to look up recipes online and be tied to their phone. if you like being able to look at recipes in your kitchen, in a cookbook instead of having to look at your damn phone for them… this is for you. The rustic paint on tbd wood base is perfect, easy to assemble and, merges old school and new school family ways of doing things in a way for gen X, Gen Z , and millennials to agree upon and understand.very sturdy and can hold a hardcover book opened or closed on a kitchen counter with ease, and becomes a focal point in the kitchen if you stage it properly. Also much more likely to use any cookbook resting in this beautiful wooden piece that is so beautifully and simply designed…any person who doesn’t have this in one of their kitchens should ask themselves, why?My daughter not only loved the cookbook, but when she opened the cookbook stand after it, she was so excited that she said: “This is so great!
