Late 2020 Apple MacBook Air with Apple M1 Chip (13.3 inch, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD) Space Gray (Renewed)

My MacBook is fully operational and looks great!! The reason it was refurbished was someone dropped it on the corner and it dinged it a little, but it didn’t affect the screen or any of the internal bits. i just sanded the corner down with a nail file so it would lay flush again and boom, i’ve got a really nice computer for under half the price of a brand new one. no regrets, would try this again sometime :)

i spent months convincing myself to buy a refurbed mac, too scared to buy one online. and if you are too, this is your sign. laptop absolutely perfect. 88% battery life. refurbished in EXCELLENT condition. almost not a single ding on it. it is fast. only thing i noticed was it was a little dirty, with dirt under the keys and in the crevice below the screen, but i can clean that. id rather a bit of dirt over a bad refurbish. i received the charger and correlating box. i love it. cant beat this price for this quality. btw, itll prob get delivered by fedex, which youll have to sign for.

Preface: my daughter’s MacBook Air screen stopped working. I decided to order a replacement screen, install wasn’t very difficult and we thought it was a great option over going to Apple and paying almost the price of a new MacBook just to replace a screen. However, the replacement screen didn’t even last 2 weeks before it died again. So I started searching Amazon and found out re-furbished units were being sold a lot a fraction of the cost. After seeing many positive reviews, I decided to order one. The MacBook Air arrived in great condition with exception of 2 small scratches on the outer lid of the screen which is hardly noticeable unless the light hits it just right. It is fully functional and my daughter has a laptop again. This was a better option than buying a 3rd party screen. Side note: I added the 3yr replacement warranty offered through Amazon for piece of mind in case it decides to crap out!

All systems go on this, my second used MacBook purchased from Amazon in two months. First one was returned and I bought this one right away. Right away I could see a small bump in the lid, a few scuffs on the top and some decent scrapes on the bottom. To call this excellent condition was very used car salesman of them. Major embellishment. Also, I do believe we need to stop using words like "refurbished" and "renewed" when all thet was done was a wipe down and a hard drive format. However, it is not unacceptable. Functionality is all there, battery is 90% healthy and exterior appearance is 7 out of 10. Appearance is a bit low for my liking but I am that nut who keeps their stuff in the best of condition. But for the price, I can live with it. Seller was WirelessSource and I would probably use them again. Like I said, appearance is a bit rougher than "excellent" and calling it "renewed" is a bit stupid, but the bargain price makes it all acceptable. Plus the delivery only took a couple days. Would I recommend it. Yes and no. I would discourage or encourage anyone to make this purchase. It's a cheap option to a typically expensive problem.

While the unit itself was fine and everything seemed ok. I did not get a power adapter. The description said power adapter included. The MacBook was dead so I could not charge it until I get an adapter which I had to go out and buy for 60 dollars. Sent Seller a message to see if I can get a partial compensation. Will update my review once I hear back. As of right now ,beware you may not get a power brick. (update).. seller did respond and offered me a partial refund. Good Customer service. Unit is great. Worth every penny of it, would suggest getting an extended warranty just to cover your purchase.( update 2)recontacted seller. After a week or so. Still no refund posted. Contacted again. (update 3)Seller responded again and basically said the same as before " sorry , that will post shortly!" that was several days ago agin and still no refund or replacementfor the missing power supply. I have given up now. I will not buy anything again from this seller since they seem to be playing games with me. they got my money and yes I did get a decent laptop, but I still had to put out 60 more dollars to get it working. lowering my review stars because of the sellers response!

Let me begin by saying I purchased this 128gb 8gb Memory 2020 M1 MacBook Air from MOBILESUPPLY, as Refurbished - Acceptable condition. Total purchase price was 358.00 after tax and shipping. I had placed the order late Wednesday Evening and received my MacBook Friday Afternoon, The seller overnighted my MacBook to me (Kudos to MOBILESUPPLY for the fast shipping). The MacBook I received is in almost near mint condition with only two very tiny nicks, and a small smudge on the lid of the MacBook. It did come with a generic charger but I have an extra Apple branded charger lying around so I use that instead. This thing is really fast and I love the convenience of the Apple ecosystem. It's so nice to answer calls, and read/write text messages all from my MacBook, not to mention how light the MacBook is. 128gb Storage is a little on the lower end of things, however I use an Samsung 1tb External SSD and that solves that problem. Be assured for regular use 8gb of system memory is more than enough to serve your needs. I bought Acceptable condition as a baseline knowing that I would at least receive a decent MacBook, but that there is a possibility of getting lucky and receiving a much better condition one. If you're on the fence about purchasing a refurbished MacBook just take the plunge and buy it. Lastly be sure to research and review your seller prior to purchasing. My original Used - Excellent Condition MacBook purchase didn’t go well as the machine quickly showed signs of overheating with an excessively loud fan and constant freezing. I’d have issues with opening apps and the system itself was super slow. I returned that laptop with no problems and purchased a second, similar model. This second 2020 MacBook has been a blessing and runs smoothly with no issues! It updates quickly and has excellent battery life. I can download programs super fast and run multiple browser tabs with no problem. Storage is not a problem and it has an excellent display. The laptop is lightweight and perfect to travel with. Physically, the laptop has very little damage and thankfully no sticker stains. It came with a few dents on the corners but nothing that wasn’t expected. I’m glad I gave the renewed MacBook a second chance!

Computer itself is great - bought for my high schooler and he reports that the battery life is great and everything functions as it should. The ONLY issue we have is that we received an after-market charger that started sparking when plugged in after about 4 months. (brand on the charger is "Awanta") We bought a replacement and have carried on, but that was disappointing and honestly, dangerous!
