DRIVE AUTO PRODUCTS - 2 Pack Car Seat Back Protectors, Reversible Kick Mats - Gray

I recently got the DRIVE AUTO PRODUCTS Car Seat Back Protectors, and I couldn’t be happier with them! These kick mats are exactly what I needed to keep my Toyota Tacoma’s cloth seats clean and protected from my kids’ muddy shoes. Perfect Fit: The protectors fit perfectly on the back of my Tacoma’s seats. Installation was a breeze, and they cover the entire back area, which is great because my kids are constantly kicking and scuffing the seats. The fact that they’re reversible is a nice bonus, giving me the option to switch up the look if I want. Keeps My Seats Clean: My kids love playing outside, which usually means their shoes are covered in dirt, grass, and sometimes mud. These kick mats have been a lifesaver, keeping all that mess off my cloth seats. The material is easy to wipe down, so cleaning them is no hassle at all. Durable and Well-Made: The quality of these protectors is impressive. They feel sturdy and well-made, so I’m confident they’ll hold up for the long haul. The straps are strong and keep the mats securely in place, even with all the kicking they endure. Overall: If you’re a parent with active kids, these kick mats are a must-have. They fit perfectly in my Toyota Tacoma and do an excellent job of keeping the seats clean and protected. I’m really pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend them to other parents out there.

I've only had these mats for a short time (2 weeks), and so far I have been pleased with them. The mats are serving their purpose as I no longer have dirty shoe footprints on the back of my leather car seat. The mats seem to be well made and are not a cheap/thin plastic. They seem to be durable/quality material and I expect them to hold up for quite some time. The package they arrived in was simple and contained basic instructions (1/2 sheet). It seems silly, but it's nice having something that isn't over complicated by complex instructions and ridiculous packaging. I would have rated these 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I do not have anywhere to connect the bungie hooks, but the customer service is what changed my mind (will go into in a moment). There is absolutely no where under my seat to attach the hooks - the tracks for moving the seat forward/back and wires are the only things under my seat. There is a bar on the front underside of the seat, but the bungie straps cannot stretch that far. The mat does come with another option - which is a quick release (clip) strap that wraps around the seat you have the kick mat placed on. The strap was long enough (barely) to wrap around the seat without making it so taut that the front seat passenger would have the strap digging into their back. I had enough slack where I could somewhat tuck the strap into the crevice of the seat to hide it. I haven't had a passenger ride in that seat, so I can't confirm if it will stay in place while someone is riding in the seat or if it would cause discomfort. Since the bungie hook option didn't work for me, I used the wrap around strap that is another option for securing the kick mats, but roughly about 2-3 inches of kick mat hang loosely because I can't secure the bungie hooks. Overall, it doesn't look bad and there really isn't a concern that the small portion that is loose will cause issues. It would be nice to be able to attach the hooks, but I'm glad I had the strap as another option - otherwise the kick mat would be dangling and flapping around everywhere. The only recommendation that I would have is that the instructions really focus on seats having the springs under the seat. There may need to be an "OR" style statement in the instructions for those that don't have this option. To inform customers that the other options is the clip. As stated earlier, I would have given 4 stars originally, but within a few days of the kick mats arriving, I had an email from the company checking in to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. It wasn't a cheesy/automated email, it was very personal and genuine email asking/confirming if I received the mats, if I had any issues with them, and if I had concerns or feedback. In addition, there was the promise that if anything was wrong, the company would do what's right to fix it. I responded to the email (with the bungie hook details shared above) and I received a response back. Again, I was surprised to see that level of engagement regarding customer satisfaction. It was refreshing to have the reminder that customer service still exists. Very happy with the purchase and would absolutely buy from this company again.

I put these on my 2nd row seat backs ('23 Suburban) to protect them when I fold them down and load items into the back. They fit perfectly and are very sturdy. The top section is stiff, which they don't show in photos, but I was glad to see. That helps hold them flat across the back and not have the corners flop over. They have a slight rubber type feel, so the whole back is protected well. The elastic for the hooks is very thick and sturdy.

Finally found a kick mat that fits my vehicles seat, and secures without interfering with passenger comfort in the form of an attachment strap. Although the bottom hook connectors were quite difficult for me to install, once installed they fit perfectly. They lay flat and adequately cover the seat back that was subject to kicks and wipes from muddy feet. They look terrific! I hope they wear as well as they look. Given the small area to work with, looking under the seat for attachment points was the hardest part. Once I was able to view the seat bottom, installation was easy. They were installed in a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I have recently purchased and installed other Drive products (seat protectors), and thus far am happy with them. Note: The strap shown in the photo is the strap to the front seat protector. It is not a part of the kick mat.

These are nice kickmats. I installed them in a Ram 1500 and they fit the seats well with good coverage. They're definitely going to protect the seats from little dirty feet from the back seat. I like fact that they have hooks for the headrest posts rather than a strap and a chunky buckle that wraps around like most kickmats out there seem to have. That always looked very messy to me. This way is a much cleaner look. I also like how the lower heavy duty elastic hook straps secure the pad under the seat keeping everything tucked up nice and neat. I didn't care for the green logo patch on the mats as it didn't match the truck's interior, so I added some velcro and American flag patches over them. Much better now! I also folded over the top corners of the mats to match the top contours of the seats (yeah I'm picky that way). :) All in all very nicely made kickmats and I'm happy with the purchase. PRO-TIP: I've seen some people mention about the headrest hooks breaking, fair enough since the ARE made of plastic. So my tip when installing them to the headrests: Don't try to clip the plastic hook around the headrest posts. I can see that may certainly cause the hooks to break. Instead, remove the headrest first, put the headrest posts through the eye of the hooks and then reinstall the headrests to the seats.

I’ve purchased these 3 times. I used them in my Prius V and now in my Honda H-RV and they fit wonderfully in both. I love the feature where they can attach to the underside of the seat to keep them firmly in place! The ONLY drawback, which honestly can’t be helped imo, is that the straps at the top will disintegrate and break after 5-6 years of being in the sun, but that happens to all straps of this type I’ve used in my car, not just this brand. It’s still a nice long lifespan for the price! Highly recommended. (Also, if for some reason you don’t want pockets, these can easily be installed with the back side out and they still look great!)

We recently got a 2021 Dodge Durango for our family of 7, the youngest ages 7 and 5. Being in booster seats, their little feet tend to mark up the backs of the seats so we wanted something to protect them while also having some reachable storage options for them. These work great and since the front seats are bucket seats, the wrap around straps of most seat protectors do not work so with these having hooks for underneath makes for a perfect fit. Very happy with the quality and ease of installation as well as being the perfect solution for our needs!!

just picked up my new mazda. which was expensive. i already knew my 7 yo son would tear up the back of the seat with his feet. i wanted something sleek. simple. and not dorky looking. it was easy to put in. like very easy. it’s sleep. simple. clean. and looks good. i’m a critical person. i didn’t want a bunch of million pockets or something that looks like a cheat bathroom organizer. it worked perfect. it has a couple pockets that’s it. it serves its purpose and doesn’t look tacky. success.
