Smart Helmet with LED taillight & Turn Indicators, Connects via Bluetooth, Certified Comfortable Cycling Helmet. (White)

For me this is the perfect helmet, safe, lightweight, very durable, and also very cool looking. I received tons of compliments on this helmet! Walkie-talkie works fine although I’m not a fan of cellular based walkie-talkies. The speakers are awesome. They connect with my iphone with ease! Pairing was a simple process and now almost every time I turn on my helmet it connects automatically. I was caught in the rain and it was no issues with the helmet what so ever! The battery life is great as well, you can get about 5 hours of playtime. Highly recommend this helmet! I will be buying the white one real soon.

Have had this for a couple of days now and two long rides. So far it's been awesome. Very easy setup and pairing with my iPhone using the app. The music sound quality is excellent and the speaker position above your ears allows you to hear everything going on around you which is very important to biking safety in a high traffic area like I ride in. The handlebar mounted control makes answering phone calls and controlling the music pushbutton easy and provides for giving left and right turn signals with the LED lights mounted on the back of the helmet.Another nice touch is the automatic "SOS" crash emergency notification feature which sends a message and your location to an emergency contact you designate ( but hope I don't have to use it!)One thing to note - I ordered a medium size and it was a bit tight even after adjusting the size knob to where it was still snug but acceptable but if in doubt I would suggest getting a largeLooking at the other offerings on Amazon this isn't the most feature packed of the available smart helmets but I think outstanding for the price.

The Bad:1) If you want to communicate with other riders via this helmet, look elsewhere. First, they do not connect via bluetooth. You must have a phone with cell service. My wife and I both have iPhones and the only time we've been able to talk to one another is when we are about 10 feet apart. Even then, there is about a 10 second delay when it does work. My daughter has an iPhone with no cell service and even though we can create an account via email address, she cannot be part of a communication group so she cannot use the walkie talkie function at all. Since this is the main reason I bought the helmet, I am giving a low star rating for these reasons only. Since return window is only 30 days, I didn't get to use the helmet enough with others to test the walkie talkie function. It didn't work after first use but wanted to do some research and make sure we tried multiple times before returning. Obviously very disappointed.2) Blinker works but only blinks for about 3-4 seconds after pressing the button which is not near enough time to signal far enough ahead without having to press the button multiple times. Also, the lights are very faint during daytime and practically useless unless riding around dusk or later.The Good: The helmet is lightweight but feels like it is quality made. If you are only planning on using to stream music, speaker is decent and loud enough. The helmet is also quite comfortable.Thankfully I bought these on Prime Day so I only paid 69.99. If I were paying the current 99.99 price, I would feel like I had been ripped off. For 69.99, it is a decent deal for a comfortable helmet with built in speakers which is the only use I'd be able to get out of these helmets.

What a waste of life. This will not stay paired. Everytime it is turned off, it has to be paired....well not just paired. The app has to have the cache and data cleared, the phone needs to restart. Then, it takes about 20 tries to get it to pair, maybe.

Amendment to orig review: noticed adjustment on back of helmet to tighten to fit my head. Disregard previous post about helmet being Too large for me head. No size listed in description. Looked to see what size I ordered, so I could exchange for smaller size, but that isn’t an option. I measured my head and it should fit According to description size but too large. If company has a smaller size, would love to exchange. Didn’t test other features. Signals worked with remote that easily attached to handle bar. Magnetic charging port worked fine and red lights in back of helmet comes on when charging and go off once fully charged. Still need to pair with my phone. Will update once that happens. Comfortable to wear and lightweight.
