Works as intended
Replaces super old hub that died after a couple decades. This one works as needed to connect external printer to our network. The printer is an old HP 4050 Laser printer without wifi, just ethernet. This was perfect.

Affordable and does the job
I've been needing a network switch for a while now. My internet plan offers decent speeds, but I was tired of devices fighting for bandwidth, especially during peak hours. After some research, I decided to go with the TP-Link 5 Port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch, and I'm happy to report that it's been a great addition to my home network.**Setup was a breeze.** The switch is truly plug-and-play. I simply connected it to my router and then plugged in my devices (computers, gaming consoles, smart TV) to the switch's five ports. No configuration was needed, and everything worked seamlessly right out of the box.**Performance has been noticeably improved.** Downloads are faster, online gaming is smoother, and video streaming is uninterrupted. The 100 Mbps speed might not be the latest gigabit technology, but it's a significant upgrade from my previous setup and more than enough for my needs.**I also appreciate the compact design.** The switch is small and lightweight, so it fits easily on my desk without taking up too much space. It also runs silently, which is a plus since it's located in my living room.**Here are some additional points that I like:*** **Auto-MDI/MDIX:** This means I don't need to worry about using crossover cables, which simplifies things even further.* **Energy-efficient:** The switch uses less power than traditional unmanaged switches, which is good for the environment and my wallet.* **Affordable:** I found the TP-Link switch to be very budget-friendly, especially considering its performance and ease of use.**Overall, I'm very pleased with the TP-Link 5 Port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch.** If you're looking for a simple and affordable way to expand your home network and improve your internet speeds, I highly recommend this product. It's been a reliable and hassle-free solution for me.**Just a few things to keep in mind:*** This switch only offers 10/100 Mbps speeds, so if you have a gigabit internet plan, you'll need a different model.* It's an unmanaged switch, which means you don't have any advanced configuration options. If you need more control over your network, you'll need a managed switch. But for most home users, this TP-Link switch is a great option. It's easy to use, delivers noticeable performance improvements, and is very affordable.

Can't get it to work UPDATE
I recently switched internet service & now my router is in the garage with an extender in the house on my desk (same provider, just different wiring). (I needed the extender because I didn't want them to run a wire outside around the house and they don't snake wires through the walls.) The extender only has 2 ethernet ports so the technician told me to buy this port switch, plug it into the extender and all the other ethernet devices will plug into it with no problem. It isn't working for any other device if I hook it up that way. Any ideas that don't include installing everything (cameras, network printer, etc) that I can't plug into the ports on the router in the garage? Any helpful instructions online only reference hooking this up directly to the router and not the extender.UPDATE switched internet cable to first connection, then connected the others, rebooted computer and waited about 20 minutes. Had to reinstall printer software and now everything works.

Cheap, fast, easy to set up, and reliable. Ethernet is better than wi-fi even Buy one!
It's cheap and does the job very well. Easy to set up and utilize. Speed is good. I use this as a splitter off of my Wi-Fi repeater's ethernet connection to provide connections to my Roku Smart TV and Onkyo Network Surround Receiver, and its stability is much better than that of connecting my devices directly to the Wi-Fi repeater wirelessly.

Works with Starlink
Absolutely plug and play. Used for Starlink ver 2 with starlink ethernet adapter. Pluged in and was working, no fuss no muss. Can not beat for the price of under $10 for something that just works as expected.

Great switch for the price
Switch works great, just like it should. I used it to power POE cameras and has been running flawlessly for a few years now. Never needed a reboot or anything. I never tried the interesting boost feature for longer than spec runs. I'm definitely curious how reliable that is.
