When I opened the box, I was so surprised. The simulated ruby is a vibrant color. And I really like that it is set in a bezel type setting. The stone is a very good size and really has a lot of sparkle out in the sun. As for the sterling silver mounting, I really like it. It isn't the typical ring that you find in a retail store. I'm not even sure this mounting would be something you could find in a jewelry store. It was shipped very quickly and securely packaged. I am really enjoying this ring. I'll be shopping with this vendor again!!

Its rather large and dorkey, I would not wear this in public, however, the construction is okay, one might choose another ring.
