Fish saver
This has saved a few of my fish lives so far. I was dealing with redness along the fins where they meet the body and red gills and I was pretty skeptical this would work. I have been doing them one by one in a hospital tank with the four day treatment and it works! The thing that's irritating is a ten pack- it's a 4 day treatment, 10 is not divisible by 4. And the packs are not very cheap.Definitely do this in a hospital tank as it stains the water. If you don't have one, look for an aquarium club in your city and people always have extra tanks and equipment for cheap.

Works wonders
I am an amateur fish owner. I bought a 10 gallon tank in April and within one day we lost 3 fish. My 5 year old was devastated. There was one fish left. Recently that fish was hanging out at the bottom of the tank and his tail looked like it had been cut. I wasn’t sure if it was from fighting with the other fish, tail rot, or something else. I also didn’t have the heart to let my daughter see another fish die. So I bought this. We’re on day 4 of the treatment and the fish’s tail has healed and grown back. He’s clearly more animated and his colors are brilliant. My only complaint is that the tank water is a dark brown color. There is statement on the label about discoloration. However I was caught off guard when it turn such a dark color. It also creates some foam on the surface that I was not exprecting.I wish I had a clear before photo, but here is the after photo.

Use caution with this for plants
I have 3. 14inch sword plants and 2 Crypts this medication has did a number on them it hasn’t killed them but expect certain plants to experience a die off of leaves etc if your plants are not established in your aquarium I’d strongly advise moving them to a different tank while you treat as this medication may kill them off other then that as long as used as directed you should be good

It didn’t hurt anyone!
I’ve seen so many complaints about this product, and I’ve concluded 3 thing.1. Most people don’t read the instructions.2. Even the instructions need some tweaking.3. You can get better results with less work.Firstly. The instructions say that for every 10 gallons, you need to add 1 (one) packet. So, with some quick math, if you have a 2 gallon tank, you should split 1 packet into 5 parts. And put each dose in as 1/5th, not a whole packet. 1/5th per 2 gallons you have. Now; I took out my filter cartridge (you leave this out for 5 days your fish takes the doses), and I put in the first dose, and my betta was fine, no issues and he didn’t get stressed or anything. I added the second dose early in the AM. By the afternoon, that’s when I took out 25% of the water to give new water. Then I gave him the third dose the next morning; no problems. And then finally, on the last day, I gave him the 4th dose in the AM, then flipped 25% of his water in the PM. Finally adding my filter cartridge back into the filter.I did this because I realized how mucky the medicine seems to make the water and I had the mind frame where adding too much or having too much is worse than being under a little bit. It seems that a lot of reviews with bad experiences look to have too much in the tanks (from looking at their photos and comparing the result I got). That being said though; was this some great, magical cure? Well, no.It didn’t hurt my betta at all! If anything, yes, I think it helped his gills a little bit but after trying another product that is actually a water conditioner, I realize that this product is kind of a hand full for what it is. And that even better results can be achieved without the fuss that these give you.The product I now use, that brought my fish back from the dead after rescuing him from a dirty container, is actually also by API, and it’s the “Stress Coat +”, the bottle says it makes tap water safe and protects fish; but seriously, if your fish is in need, go find that product instead. Same company, different label. The cap has a 1ml measure at the bottom of the cup. So same deal, 1ml per 2 gallons.Good luck!
